There is a place hidden in the depths of the plateau and surrounded by mountains, which has been guarded by Tibetan Buddhist temples for generations. Legend has it that it is the closest place to the sky, known as the most beautiful pure land in the world, the closest place to heaven, and the origin of all dreams. Perhaps it is the creator's preference that gives it all the purest beauty. This is Shangri-La, a fairyland forgotten by God.
If Shangri-La is a paradise, balague Sect is an isolated world. In this magical land, there are not only ancient legends of the Kangba family, but also steep and deep canyons, majestic snow-capped mountains, scattered virgin forests, lush pastures and simple folk customs in Bala Village.
When I was a child, I couldn't sleep at night and often climbed a few stars. Now, the night sky in the city is shrouded in smog, and it is rare to see such a bright and boundless galaxy. Looking up at the night sky in Shangri-La Grand Canyon, I saw it and fell in love with it.
In July, everything revived, and the romantic scenery between mountains and rivers was endowed with the purest beauty. This is the second time that I have lived in balague. The last time I was here was in April, and the mountains were covered with ice and snow. If you really want to ask me the reason for the second brush, I just want to feel the beauty of the meadow after the melting of the snow-capped mountains and the warm and simple folk customs of Kangba people again.
The towering mountains span the sky and go straight into the sky. The climate of the snow-capped mountains here changes rapidly. As the sun rises, the cloud belt keeps rising. At noon, there may be clouds floating on the top of the mountain, so there are not many opportunities to enjoy this scenery. According to Tibetan legends, only those who are destined to have this kind of blessing.
There are many large and small temples in Shangri-La, the most famous of which is Songzanlin Temple. Walking in the largest Tibetan Buddhist temple in Tibet, you can smell faint Tibetan incense in the air. When the Lama passes by you, he will say: Tashdedler.
Due to the epidemic, the school had a long winter vacation, and it didn't take long for school to start, and then it ushered in the summer vacation, which was a nightmare for parents. But it's not a good idea to keep Siemens at home. I have to take him everywhere to keep watch, so this trip to Shambhala naturally changed from a person to a parent-child tour of wits.
Hit the flood season
July is the rainy season in Shangri-La. When the snow-capped mountains melt, it looks green everywhere. At this time, it rains about one third of the day, but it also happens to be the rainy season, and Tiger Leaping Gorge is in the most magnificent flood season, so this trip to Tiger Leaping Gorge is the most unforgettable stop.
I got up early and rushed to Tiger Leaping Gorge. I found that many tourists have arrived. Tiger leaping gorge scenic spot has just entered from the parking lot. It took about an hour to go up and down. The hiking route is not as easy as expected, and my legs and feet are a little sour when I get to the viewing platform.
Jinsha River, which originated from Gladandong Snow Mountain in Qinghai, suddenly turned northward after passing the first bay of the Yangtze River in Shigu Town, and squeezed through the cracks between Haba Snow Mountain and Yulong Snow Mountain. The originally calm and peaceful river suddenly became furious, forming the most spectacular grand canyon in the world, and the narrowest place in the canyon is the famous Tiger Leaping Gorge.
Tiger leaping gorge is divided into three sections: upper tiger leaping, middle tiger leaping and lower tiger leaping. The Tiger Leaping we went to is the narrowest part of the canyon and the most beautiful place in Tiger Leaping Gorge. In the middle of the river stands a huge stone, lying across the middle of the river, like a waterfall and a high ridge standing in front of us, splitting the rapids into two parts and storming the waves.
After a long stay, the shock brought by visual impact gradually faded away, and suddenly I felt that people were so small and insignificant in front of the wonders of nature.
The raging river beat the towering rocks, stirred up water columns and waves, roared like thunder, rolled through the stone wall and stood on the railing for a moment. My body was splashed with sediment by the river, and the air was full of sediment. Wild is one of my deepest impressions of Tiger Leaping Gorge.
The Secret Place of Shangri-La —— Introduction of balague Sect
If Shangri-La is a paradise, then balague Sect is a paradise on earth. Balague Sect is Tibetan, which means "the place where immortals live". In addition to its name, its geographical location is far from the secular. At one time, there was no balague sect on the map, where there was no electricity, no access and no communication. At that time, the villagers had almost no cash income, so it was very difficult to use some necessities such as salt and tea. Poverty and backwardness have become synonymous with Bala village. If you want to get out of the mountains, you can only rely on a horse-drawn postal road built on a cliff in the 1970s, with a width of less than one meter. If you are not careful, you may fall into the rushing Gangqu River.
Then a man changed the fate of Bala village and connected balague with the outside world. This man is Snadingzhu, who was also born in this isolated village. When I was a child, iron flew into my eyes, which hurt Snadingzhu's eyes. He had to go out to the county to see a doctor. However, at that time, the traffic in Bala village was not developed, and it took five days for various vertical landforms to reach Zhongdian County (now Shangri-La). Snadingzhu also delayed the best treatment time and became blind in one eye.
Although he lost an eye, Snadingzhu was not discouraged, but made him dream of changing the poverty in his hometown. As an adult, he used tens of millions of assets accumulated in business to build a road leading to the outside world in Bala Village, connecting Panshan Highway in Bala Village from National Highway 2 14, with 43 sharp turns, entrenched in the middle of the ravine and ravine, just like the white "Hada" in the mountains.
Entering Jing Zong District of balague, there is a strong Tibetan style and religious color from the white stupa.
I have long heard that there is a legendary Bodhi tree in balague Scenic Area, which has lived in this magical land of balague for thousands of years. It is said that the trunk of this tree once grew a Buddha's left hand one night a few years ago, which is very magical.
There is a sutra depository next to the Bodhi Tree. The main Buddha statues are: Huang Caishen, Master Lotus Peanut, White Tara, Zunsheng Buddha Mother and Green Tara Mother. Outside the hall, there stands a large prayer wheel full of scriptures. It is more stable and auspicious to turn the scriptures clockwise. When devout believers come here, they all come to the Buddhist temple to pray.
Many tourists hope to get the blessing of the Buddha, so they put a lot of paper money in the groove of the stone wall next to the bergamot, as small as one yuan and five yuan, as large as 5 100, so I don't follow the trend, sincerely ~
The cliff plank road winds through the 2000-meter-long canyon cliff of "God never shuts one door but he opens another" and extends eastward. No one has set foot in it for thousands of years, and everything here is a masterpiece of nature. Walking on the horizontal plank road, looking up, the peaks on the two wings go straight into the sky, the cliffs go straight into the river, and the vegetation is lush. Everything in front of me is like a scene in spring and summer.
Walking on the plank road, with the sound of water, another highlight in the canyon is Gangqu River. This river is the mother river of Bala Village, and the current is neither urgent nor slow, so drifting here is also slow. In the river, you can enjoy the Grand Canyon without dead ends and feel how small people are in nature.
Walking along the route, I came across another world, different from the green of the canyon river. The stream in Butterfly Valley originates from the mountains and is clear and transparent.
The reason why it is called Butterfly Valley must be that every butterfly is spreading its wings. There should be a shadow of a butterfly here.
Mani piles can be seen everywhere on the stones, and the piled stones are Tibetan blessings and symbols of good luck.
Wild mountain palm is only found in tropical areas, and it is very rare in the alpine vegetation area of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau north of Jinsha River.
Where there is no vegetation on the cliff, the word "Fu" naturally appears. The miracles of living in balague make me more convinced that this is a treasure house blessed by God.
There are eight sacred mountains in balague, and Mount Bandan Ram is one of them. This is the Shangri-La dream mentioned in the lost horizon. Bandan Ram is the head of the gods in Tibetan Buddhism. Tibetans believe that worshipping her can eliminate disasters and make people prosperous.
Take the scenic tour bus up the mountain and overlook the balague Sect at the Bandan Ram observation deck. The mountains are close at hand, as if within reach.
Zhuomalakang is the Kannonji built by Tusi Nadoji more than 300 years ago behind Dayong House/kloc-0. Eight white pagodas stand at the entrance of the temple, forming a group of great pagodas, each with a different meaning. From east to west: Ju Lian Tower, Siti Tower, Xifen Tower, Bodhi Tower, Shenbian Tower, Descending Tower and Victory Tower. It is said that turning the stupa can not only transship, but also accumulate virtue, but remember to turn clockwise!
A total of 2 1 Statue of Mother Zundu is displayed in the temple, which is the goddess who saves all suffering beings from difficulties and is also worshipped by various sects of Tibetan Buddhism. 2 1 Tara has different shapes. Worship Tara, you can worship it all or follow fate. The ninth Tara is the most sacred.
The lobby on the first floor is covered with colorful flags, which makes people feel solemn and sacred.
There are two things to pay attention to when entering the temple: never step on the threshold, remember to take off your sunglasses and hat, don't take pictures of Buddha statues, and you can take pictures of others at will.
Xiaobala Village at the foot of the mountain is the sacred hometown of balague, the center where immortals live, and the real Shambhala. The mountains here are steep and isolated, and the villagers have been blessed and loyal to the mountains for generations. Materials are scarce here, but they never lack faith.
There are three Maniduis at the entrance of the village, which, like Thangka, can experience thousands of years of wind and rain and historical vicissitudes and still maintain colorful colors. The scripture on the pile wall is too long to be read by a profound living Buddha. In the eyes of thousands of tourists in the past, no one knew its significance.
The white pagoda at the top of the mountain is a place where Bala people stew mulberry and pray for blessings. Mulberry stoves are also available in every household in Bala village. Although I am not Tibetan, I don't know much about this belief, but I am full of admiration.
The village still retains the appearance of that year, adhering to the concept that all the people who come here are relatives. Every household here doesn't have a dog, and no door is locked. Simple wooden doors only avoid the invasion of wild animals and the random entry and exit of livestock. They rely on the self-nature and conscience of Buddhism to protect their spiritual home.
There is a caravan butter tea shop in Bala village, which is located in the center of the village and is easy to find. Different from the ordinary butter tea house, this teahouse has a strong Tibetan folk customs.
Here, you can see the stupa in the distance by opening the window.
Above the two stone steps are traditional wooden doors in rural areas. When you are tired, you can come in and have a bowl of buttered tea, look at the holy mountain through the window, knead a glutinous rice cake with highland barley noodles and experience the original Tibetan life.
Buy butter tea and send highland barley noodles, which are sweet and salty, and choose according to your personal preference.
Shangri-La is the birthplace of Tibetan black pottery. Local artisans have inherited Tibetan traditional pottery-making skills for thousands of years, which have been passed down from generation to generation for nearly a thousand years. The caravan from south to north brought local pottery to all directions while transporting tea.
Every process of making pottery is a technical activity, and the embryo-making and firing process has unique skills in it, and the firing cannot be separated from the raw materials of local specialties. Every Potter is a veritable craftsman, and every piece of black soil pottery bean is a well-deserved work of art.
In the Black Pottery Museum in Bala Village, you can experience the traditional handicraft of making pottery. These houses used to be the homes of residents. Until recent years, due to the earthquake and the old house, the whole village has moved to the foot of the mountain. After the later reinforcement and transformation, it has become a leisure resort integrating catering and accommodation for tourists to visit and understand the local culture and solve the problem of food and clothing.
I, a fan of milk tea, never thought that I could drink milk tea with imperial tea in balague. . .
From Shangri-La Canyon along Panshan Road, the scenery is becoming more and more different. Only when you really come here can you appreciate the splendor of the world. Here is full of wild interest, dense ancient trees and winding rivers like ribbons, which is a magical picture of nature. There is a great difference in height between valleys. "There is a gorge in the gorge, there is a gorge on the gorge, criss-crossing, and the gorge is connected" is its greatest feature.
"There is always a moment to open your heart in your life." Hilton described the hero's feelings when he witnessed the wonders of Shangri-La in the book Lost Horizon. Yellowing mountains stretch into the distance, wrapped in vegetation clothes, shuttling between mountains and galloping in the clouds. Only when you are really there, do you know what is the moment to open your soul.
The aerial ropeway in the canyon should be a game for the brave. From the jungle to the canyon, from the foot of the mountain to the top of the mountain, dark green blends with rocks to show the diversity of nature one by one. The morning sunshine evaporated the sea of clouds in the mountains, which was romantic and dreamy. Slide back to the starting point from this end of the plank road by the zip line. Ge Zongshan is in front of you, and the abyss is below. Don't try easily if you are afraid of heights ~
Nowadays, many scenic spots have glass observation decks, which is nothing unusual. It's just that balague lives on the highest and straight glass plank road in China, so I still want to see it. The glass plank road built here is extremely difficult. It is nearly 1000 meters above sea level and almost hangs on the cliff.
Through the glass platform at the foot, you can directly overlook the Shangri-La Grand Canyon.
Take sightseeing bus to Huahaitang. In the rainy season in July, there are sporadic wild flowers. Although the flowering period of azaleas in the mountains has passed, the hut in this forest also has some artistic flavor.
Along the winding road, the altitude is rising, and the scenery is quite different from that under Bala Village. The temperature below Bala village can be said to be spring and summer, and it is obviously a little cold when you reach the mountain pass.
At the top of the mountain pass, you can see the snow-capped mountains in the distance again. The location of balague's residence is really amazing. Is it on one side? Aden? On one side of Daocheng is Meili. When the weather is fine and the visibility is high, you can see the mountain by flying.
