The eunuchs and beautiful women who paid tribute to the Central Plains in North Korea mainly concentrated after the Yuan Dynasty. After the Mongols destroyed the gold, North Korea was forced to submit, and later gradually became an "oriental province". The Korean kingdom existed in name only, and Korean women with outstanding appearance and good singing and dancing became the most popular "exotic" in the Central Plains at that time. Nobles even compare themselves with the number of Korean handmaiden at home. During the Yuan and Ming Dynasties, there were also many women from North Korea (and later North Korea) who served as concubines and female officials. The "tribute system" of the Yuan Dynasty lasted for many years in Korea.

Besides women, there is another thing, and that is eunuchs. There are also a few eunuchs from North Korea who served as eunuchs in the courts of the Yuan and Ming Dynasties.
