Gege in Enshi area basically belongs to Wanzhou Gege.
There are many kinds of gege in Dazhou. In addition to traditional mutton, there are pork intestines, lean meat and rabbit meat, which are steamed in bamboo steamer with a diameter of about seven or eight centimeters and piled on the steamer one by one. It is a must-have snack when eating noodles. In this area, only things made of this small steamer are called "Gege". Unlike Wanzhou Gege, it doesn't add potatoes and sweet potatoes.
