Also known as grouse, it is one of the famous foods in Da Matou Township. It is said that it has a history of more than 400 years. It is named because it is golden in color and shaped like a tiger's head after stewing. Tiger-headed chicken is crispy and delicious, and people have attached various legends to this food for hundreds of years. It is said that during the Jiajing period of the Ming Dynasty, a general made an expedition here, and the hospitable dock people slaughtered chickens to entertain guests. Since the general didn't eat stewed chicken, and there were no other local dishes at that time, a villager cooked chicken and noodles in fried water for entertainment. The general tried to eat it. The meat and bones were soft, separated and delicious. So I asked what it was. Because chicken nuggets are shaped like tiger heads, the villagers had a brainwave and said they were called "tiger-headed chicken", so the general took them to Jinan and then they became popular in Shandong. Because of its irregular shape, it looks like a tiger-headed chicken, and the chef casually calls it a tiger-headed chicken. The general brought this unique way of eating to Jinan Prefecture, and since then, this way of eating has been carried forward and become one of the Shandong cuisine recipes. Mainly spread in Dongying, Shouguang, Taian and other places.
2. Reed mat on the wharf
The pier reed mat has a history of more than 600 years, and my hometown is in the land of retreating from the sea. It turns out that here is rich in reeds, which is the main reed mat producing area in Guangrao County. The reed mat on the wharf is small in flowers, dense in texture, meticulous in hand, various in types and patterns. Their uses can be divided into bed (kang) mats, fence mats, thatched mats and so on. They are used to make beds, and the more you use them, the smoother they get. They are used to cover goods, which can not only prevent wind and rain, but also allow air circulation. The "opposite seats" produced are like two seats, which are designed for marriage. Reed mats produced here sell well. As early as the 1930s, it was exported to Incheon, North Korea, and now it is mainly sold to Jiaodong and Northeast China. Reed mat market is a famous reed grass and reed mat trading market.
3. Xiaoqing River noodle fish
Also known as whitebait. Xiaoqing River in the north of my hometown is the main producing area. In the difficult period of life, it is the time when the green and yellow are not connected, and it is the time when Xiaoqing River is rich in noodle fish, and the masses use it to satisfy their hunger and tide over the famine. In recent years, due to the serious water pollution in Xiaoqing River, this specialty has disappeared.
4, the center of the sickle
Also known as the central sickle. The township is rich in reed grass and cattail grass resources, and people mostly make a living by weaving reeds. The sickle for harvesting reeds should be sharp and durable. After years of practice, the village blacksmiths made a sickle with a straight and short shape, a sharp and durable blade and the word "Yang" printed on the front, which spread to Shandong around liberation, especially in Lubei and Jiaodong. Now, the production of "Yang Sickle" must be customized in advance. Jin dynasty copper seal
Carved in the third year of Jin Dynasty (12 15), it is the seal of the leader. Weighing 500 grams, square, side length 6 cm, thickness 1.2 cm. There is a trapezoidal column handle on the back, 3.2 cm high, and the top of the handle is ribbed. The surface of the seal is engraved with nine stacks of seal characters, and the seal is "loyalty and filial piety write a leap-forward seal of thousands of households", which has obvious wear marks. This seal was unearthed in my hometown Gaogang Village. According to textual research, this seal was related to the heavy defense of Guangrao Old Town at that time (Guangrao County was in Gaogang Village at that time).
