How to cook lean meat with American ginseng
Lean meat ginseng lotus seed soup

Ingredients: 5 grams of American ginseng, 200-250 grams of lean meat (tenderloin), dried lotus seeds 10, a little salt.

Exercise:

Prepare these three ingredients, one piece of lean meat, dried lotus seeds 10 or so, and sliced American ginseng. American ginseng is cold in nature and slightly bitter in taste, and has the function of clearing fire and promoting fluid production. Don't just look at the word "ginseng" and think that American ginseng is very tonic. In fact, you can soak a few pieces of American ginseng in water every day to refresh yourself and produce fluid. Lotus seeds, nourishing the heart and calming the nerves, can be white lotus seeds or Hunan lotus seeds without lotus seeds.

2. Cut the lean meat into small pieces, put it in a cold water pot, boil it for 1 min, blanch it to remove blood and impurities, and then take it out. Lean meat, also known as tenderloin, has less fat and can improve immunity. It is the meat part that Cantonese people prefer to buy soup and stew in summer.

3. Put all the scalded lean meat, lotus seeds and American ginseng into the stew pot. I stew soup in a saucepan, which saves me the trouble of watching the fire. Steam in the saucepan for about 40 minutes, and add appropriate amount of salt to taste after the soup is stewed.

I usually don't put salt in this soup, because American ginseng has a light sweetness, lean meat has a sweet taste, and lotus seeds have a starch taste, so the stew has a light sweetness and tastes just right. Without salt, one person has a bowl, which is just right for quenching thirst.

American ginseng has the function of nourishing yin and benefiting qi. Use lotus seeds to soothe the nerves and nourish the heart. This bowl of soup can clear the heart and reduce the fire, and children over 3 years old can drink it.

Tips:

Drink less cold drinks and replenish body fluids without hurting the spleen and stomach, which is the simplest and most effective way to strengthen the spleen and stomach in summer!
