Located at the southern foot of Tianshan Mountain and the northern edge of Tarim Basin, it is the largest, densest and best-preserved natural Populus euphratica forest in the world.
Local transportation: if you take the train, there is Kuqa in front and Korla in the back, and Urumqi can also go directly. But the railway station is a small station, far from the city (2 1km). There is no bus (I can't find it anyway). 10 yuan/People can take a taxi to town. If you rent a car, it's about 300 a day.
Local accommodation: You can stay in the town, around 150 yuan, and the conditions are ok. The facade of the regular express hotel is not prosperous, but there are many restaurants and convenience stores, and the prices are normal.
Local cuisine: neither spicy nor black, the level is the same as other places in Xinjiang. Mutton kebabs, brain pit meat, lasagna, Sichuan hot pot and Dicos (I didn't accept Dicos' sponsorship) have a variety of choices, and the prices are the same as those in first-tier cities. Not cheap, not unacceptable.

Tarim Populus euphratica Park is very big, and there are many people in the yellow leaf season. It is recommended to leave enough time. There is a small train project in the scenic spot, with a round trip of 3.5km 100 yuan and a 20-minute stopover to take pictures. I think friends in the pit can avoid it by themselves. Although there are many people here, they are still dwarfed by Ejina.
