China highway number daquan
During our travels, especially in road trip, we often see some road signs with letters, and we all want to know what this means. Sometimes we need to know this so that we can better know where we are going!

Then, many people think that the number of expressways in China is too complicated, but it is not. Next, let's look at the number of expressways in China and Bian Xiao!

In general,

First of all, the highway signs in China are easy to identify, and they are composed of red, green and white. White characters on a red background indicate the national high speed, and white characters on a green background indicate the high speed number.

Secondly, the letter G is the prefix of the country, and the number consists of G+ Arabic numerals. The number G+ 1 is capital radiation, the odd number G+2 is vertical line and the even number G+2 is horizontal line.

20 13 On June 20th, the Ministry of Transport officially announced the National Highway Network Planning (20 13 -2030) at the press conference held by the State Council Information Office. In the new plan, the national highway network is further improved, and two north-south longitudinal lines are added in the west.

By 2030, China will form a "7118" expressway network. That is, seven radial lines in the capital, 1 1 north-south longitudinal lines, 18 east-west transverse lines, and regional ring lines, parallel lines and tie lines. The planned total mileage will be increased to 1 1.8 million kilometers.

Understand regional loop lines, parallel lines and tie lines.

1. Six regional loop lines

G+2 digits, starting with the number 9.

Arranged from north to south.

G9 1, Zhonghuan Road, Liaoning Province

Hangzhou Bay Ring G92

G93, Chengdu-Chongqing Loop

G94, the ring road in the Pearl River Delta.

G95, Ring Road of Capital Region

Hainan Ring Road G98

Second, parallel lines

G+ main line number+bearing+serial number.

Azimuth is represented by e, s, w and n.

The parallel lines of the expressway run in the same direction as the main line of the expressway, sharing part of the traffic flow of the main line, and both ends are connected with the main line of the expressway.

Look at the picture for example:

The above two pictures are parallel lines.

The numbering clearly indicates that the font size is different.

The larger font is the main line number.

Smaller fonts are specific parallel lines.

W and e are directions.

Represents the west or east position parallel to the main line.

And South-South and North-North.

The last digit in the picture on the left is 3.

Which parallel line represents the main line?

There are no numbers behind the direction on the right.

The first parallel line representing the main line.

Therefore, G4W3 is the third expressway parallel to the west direction of G4 Beijing-Hong Kong-Macao Expressway. And G65E is the eastbound 1 expressway of G65 Baomao Expressway.

Because there are many parallel lines, I won't list them here. But as long as you know the naming rules of parallel lines, you will know that this is a high-speed parallel line when you encounter such a signboard in the future!

Third, the contact line

Four digits.

G+ main line number+serial number.

The tie line is a link connecting several major highways. Most tie lines can connect multiple highways.

Look at the picture for example:

The above two pictures are all contact line numbers.

Numbers are also font size.

The larger font is the main line number.

Small fonts are specific contact lines.

The main line number starts with 0 1

The tie line number starts from 1

1 1 is the first contact line.

12 is the second connecting line.

etc

Therefore, G0 11is G 1 Jingha Expressway1tie line. G 12 12 is the second connecting line of G 12 Hunwu Expressway. Note that 1 1 is not 1 1 tie line, but 1 tie line! Because there are many contact lines, I won't give examples here. Please remember the rules.

So, do you already know how to know these highway numbers in China? You can also know where these roads lead through these numbers, so that you can determine your travel route more clearly!
