I don't know when it started, but this picture always comes to my mind. The endless desert Gobi, the crescent-shaped lake is located at the foot of the sand dune, the ancient bell tower of the ancient temple, the Sanskrit sound, the camel team outside the temple, like a straw, swaying in the desert, reflecting the sunset, drinking camel bells.
? A gust of wind blew, the yellow sand flew, and after the dust settled, the cave spread out in front of us with bursts of Buddhist sounds and incense. Monks chanted sutras and meditated in caves, telling stories about the past of Buddhism.

I heard about the snacks in Huimin Street before I came to Xi 'an, and I went straight to Huimin Street at the first stop in Xi 'an. The snacks in Huimin Street are quite distinctive, the Chinese hamburger is original, and the mutton steamed buns are also very chewy. Su Shi, a gluttonous man, once wrote a poem "The dragon has bear wax, and Qin only cooks mutton soup" to describe the delicacy of mutton buns. Qishan noodles with minced meat, belt noodles, Jiasan steamed stuffed bun shop and so on are the characteristics of Huimin Street snacks.
The Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Small Wild Goose Pagoda are certainly must-see places. They stood in the temple, drizzling, like two guards guarding this thousand-year-old city. The Buddhist sutra building of the Big Wild Goose Pagoda houses Mahayana Buddhism retrieved from Tianzhu by Master Xuanzang. On the north side of the pagoda is the Sanzang Buddhist Temple, where the master translator was taught. Somehow, as revealed by heaven, I met Master Xuanzang again. Before that, I saw the master's remains at Linggu Temple in Purple Mountain, and the Dojo where the master once lived at Wild Goose Pagoda.
? Chang 'an has the most complete Ming Dynasty wall, so climbing the wall to watch the sunset has become the most beautiful thing. Climb up the city wall from Andingmen, ride around the city wall, follow the footsteps of the sun, and watch the sun slowly disappear on the horizon, as if you saw a thousand-year-old city in the cycle of rising and falling of the sun. The success or failure of the rise and fall still cannot escape the afterglow.
? Huaqingchi and Terracotta Warriors and Horses both tell the glory of that era. When the Tang Dynasty flourished, the king of Qin swept Liuhe, and a period of history set off one ancient after another. ?
There is not only the tragic love between Li Longji and Yang Yuhuan in the Tang Dynasty, but also the pomegranate tree planted next to the Palace of Eternal Life. Pomegranate flowers are still as enchanting as the year before, and have never withered. "Qin sweep Liuhe, eyeing He Xiongzai! Swing the sword and set the clouds, and the princes will come to the West. " Li Bai's Antique is magnificent. Qin, swept Liuhe, and all the ministers came to worship. Maybe there is no Daqin in the world, but the Terracotta Warriors carved the Daqin Empire thousands of years ago in the long river of history.

As night fell, we packed our bags and headed west for the next stop, Dunhuang. Due to the need of the trip, we arranged Jiayuguan Lanzhou on the return route.
Go all the way west and leave where you are. The hillside outside the window began to become scarce, and the Gobi desert also increased. When night fell again, the train pulled into dunhuang railway station.
Dunhuang, a pearl on the Silk Road, is a city surrounded by flying.
Not far from the flying fairy outside the cloud, it is called Xiaoqu in Qingluan. When the car drove into Dunhuang City, a missile pipa sculpture came into view, and this poem by Lu You came into being.
Get off and walk. Not far away is Shazhou Night Market. Food is the most important thing for people. The first stop is of course eating. In this city where multi-ethnic cultures blend, food culture is particularly prominent. The barbecue in the northwest is unique, not as exquisite as that in the east, but more rugged under the wind and sand, and still retains the most primitive taste of meat. Hu mutton stew cake, donkey meat yellow noodles and other local characteristics are also exotic.
? Drive all the way from downtown to Mingsha Mountain. Just now, it was surrounded by trees, and suddenly it turned into a vast desert, which was a shock that ordinary scenery could not give.
? The crescent spring at the foot of Mingsha Mountain is like the eyes of a desert. The lake is clear and the desert is on the shore. The coexistence of lake water and sand dunes is also a great spectacle. The most beautiful thing is to sing the sand and climb the high sand dunes and watch the sun disappear in the desert. I can't help feeling. Perhaps thousands of years ago, the ancients also went to the mountains to watch the sunset like us, and could not help feeling that "the desert is lonely and the long river sets the yen."
The next day, we drove 200 miles to see the Ya Dan landform in Devil's Land. All the way through the desert Gobi, you can't see it in the east. Nothing grows in the Black Qilian Mountains, and the snow on the top of the mountain is looming.
Passing through the Thousand-Buddha Cave, the Buddha Cave was dug on the precipice, similar to the Mogao Grottoes and close to the Danghe River, which reminds me of Dangxiang's story about Danghe River in Shiyang Xixia.
Yumenguan, with a low eyebrow, sang, "Why should I complain about Liu? The spring breeze is just Yumen Pass. " Throughout history, only broken walls was left in Yumenguan. The Great Wall of Han Dynasty, still floating in the wind, witnessed the rise and fall of Yumenguan. The vast Gobi has long lost the prosperity of the Silk Road, and it is more of a thousand-year sigh.
The wonders of the West Sea Fleet in Longcheng are naturally worth seeing. If the weather is fine, the sunset next door is also excellent. Black Gobi, yellow sunset and fiery red clouds are the essence of the sunset in an empty city.
I took a bottle of sand in Mingsha Mountain, a stone in Danghe River and a section of Populus euphratica trunk in Yumenguan. One has gone through a hundred years, one has gone through a thousand years and one has gone through ten thousand years.

The Mogao Grottoes is a must-see place to Dunhuang, and the greatest treasure of mankind is presented here. The splendid Mogao Grottoes culture is the brightest pearl on the Silk Road.
The dome theater of the Mogao Grottoes Visitor Center and the documentaries broadcast have enabled us to better understand the Mogao Grottoes. Take a bus to the Mogao grottoes, and the caves are presented on the cliff, which is very spectacular. More interestingly, there is also a Taoist temple in this Buddhist holy land. It is the concept of Sanqing, that is, the biography of Wang Yuan of Taoism, and also the biography of Wang Yuan under the Tao Tower. At present, Wang Daochang's ashes tower still stands by the river.
There are a large number of exquisite murals and sculptures in the Mogao Grottoes, which were left by the ancients thousands of years ago. Each mural is a Buddhist story, with nine floors for future generations to watch.
Legend has it that Monk Le Zun passed by Dunhuang and suddenly saw a golden cliff at sunset, just like the Buddha approaching. So, I dug a cave under the Mogao Mountain, where you meditated and practiced. This is the first cave in the Mogao Grottoes.
The Mogao grottoes research institute intends to convert the Mogao grottoes into digital models, so it is likely that it will be many years before the Mogao grottoes can be seen in the digital library.

? Jiayuguan, the first pass in the world and the first city of the Great Wall in Wan Li, has the most beautiful trestle and Taolai River scenery. The Datang Food Street in Jiayuguan is a must-see place to experience Jiayuguan cuisine. The local special ginger juice drinks and drinks made from ginger are deeply loved by local people. The nightlife of Jiayuguan people is desirable. As night fell slightly, everyone ordered a few side dishes at the night market, called friends, talked about the trivial matters of seven aunts and eight aunts, and drank happily and punched in. This is the first time I have seen someone boxing and drinking in reality. The night market is full of curiosity. Jin Wuwei, Yin Zhangye. Zhangye's Danxia landform is also worth a visit. If it rains, colorful Danxia is a great scenic spot in Gansu.
In addition to the unique mutton skewers in the northwest, Jiayuguan cuisine also includes local delicacies such as rubbing fish and lamb chops. Zhangye's unique firecracker noodles are the biggest food feature. Cut the noodles into long strips, cook them first, then fry them, then pour the beef soup, and a bowl of delicious firecrackers noodles will be ready.
Lanzhou beef noodles, using the Yellow River water with Lanzhou characteristics and unique sauce beef, taste completely different from the eastern region. Lanzhou's unique beverage, Sanpaotai, is also a good specialty choice. The first iron bridge of the Yellow River, Zhongshan Bridge and Baitashan Park all have a good impression.
