Many people like to worship, but they don't know how to worship. Many people may go the wrong way from the moment they enter the temple gate, Monroe! When we visit people's homes, we will definitely enter through the main entrance to show courtesy and facilitate the host's knowledge. Similarly, the same is true of worshipping God in the temple. It is impolite to block the passage of the immortals! Let's take a look now. Bye. What etiquette should we pay attention to from entering the temple gate?

I. Entry and exit etiquette
We face the right side of the temple gate and go in (just like walking on the right). This side is the left side of the gods, which is the so-called "dragon side". Because in the standard mode of sitting facing south, the dragon side is the east, where the sun rises, so it is the yang side and the auspicious side, and when it comes out, it is the "tiger side" on the other side, which means "entering the dragon's throat and leaving the tiger's mouth", symbolizing good or bad luck.
There will be a threshold under the door (called "household" in Taiwanese). The threshold was originally designed to be waterproof, but later it was more meaningful to divide inside and outside. Because the entry threshold is my home, it is a declaration of sovereignty! Therefore, when entering and leaving the threshold, ancient etiquette should bend over to show a polite visit.
On the contrary, if they come to provoke, they will step on the threshold to show "invading the door and stepping on the door." Similarly, in and out of the temple gate, you should bend over and cross over, and don't step on the threshold. There is also a door in the center of the temple, but it is only for the gods and the emperor (now the president) to enter and exit. It is not natural for ordinary people to enter and exit from this side.
Second, the order of worship
There must be a big incense burner at the main entrance of Taoist temple, which is called "Tiangong Furnace", that is, offering sacrifices to heaven (Jade Emperor). No matter which god you worship in the Taoist temple, you should stand behind the incense burner outside the temple, face the sky and worship God before entering the main hall. Because the Buddhist temple does not worship the Jade Emperor, there is no sky furnace, and the furnace outside the door is to worship incense directly.

If the Lord God is the god of wealth, the Lord of the city and the landlord, you should pay attention to whether there is a tiger under God's desk. Most tigers are placed under the table, and children like to crawl around under it, so tigers are still the patron saint of children. Don't forget to worship!
3. When can I say goodbye?
When is the right time for worship? Can we say goodbye tonight? As long as the temple gate is still open, of course you can go in. Goodbye! Most people don't like to go to worship at night, because they think it's easy to get stuck by "A Piao" wandering around collecting incense.
In fact, at dawn and dusk, when Yin and Yang alternate, Ah Piao appears most frequently, just as commuting is the most crowded time, and these two times are also the time when people's positive and negative sympathetic nerves change and their spirits are the worst. Therefore, many patients and mental patients get sick at this time, so it is not particularly easy to "sink into the yin" at night.
