1. Click on the lower left corner of the computer desktop and find the run command line.
2. Enter regedit in the Run box, and then double-click to open the Registry Editor.
3. Find the HKEY _ Class _ root directory on the left side of the Registry Editor and expand it.
4. Find the docx project from the drop-down list and click.
5. You can see that there is a (default) on the right, click (default), and then change the (default) item to? Words. Document. 12, and click [OK] to finish the modification.
6. Close the Registry Editor and refresh the desktop. Then we found the option of right-clicking to create a new word. Similarly, we go into the registry to find the location of xlsx and change it to Excel (by default). Table 12.
