(1) When designing the layout of rural self-built houses, the size of each space should be reasonably controlled, and the depth should not be too long, otherwise indoor lighting and ventilation will become a major design difficulty.
(2) If the area of rural self-built houses is not large enough, the houses can be slightly lengthened, or L-shaped rural self-built houses can be built to ensure the integrity of indoor functional areas to some extent.
(3) Living room, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom are standard and indispensable spaces for self-built houses in rural areas, and their size should be set reasonably, so it is inconvenient to use them if they are too big or too small.
(4) Generally speaking, the living room is not less than 3.6m, the bedroom is not less than 3.0×3.3m, the minimum area of the kitchen is not less than 5m2, and the minimum width of the bathroom is not less than 0.9mm. If the height of the first floor is too high, you can choose a low ceiling to control the height of the bathroom.
2, the positioning should be reasonable
(1) In addition to designing the dimensions of various functional areas of rural self-built houses, the overall orientation of rural self-built houses should also be considered clearly and set reasonably.
(2) It is said that the house facing south is the most suitable for living, which is not absolute. It is necessary to comprehensively consider the orientation of the house according to factors such as the environment in which the house is built.
(3) Generally speaking, the orientation of self-built houses in rural areas should avoid facing due west and north. Self-built houses in rural areas will be very hot, especially in summer, if they face due west and are in direct sunlight for a long time. In addition, they will feel dazzled and affect their living environment. If the rural self-built houses face north, they will be in a state of no sunlight for a long time, and the indoor lighting is not good, which will affect the health of residents. Therefore, the orientation of rural self-built houses should be considered reasonably before design.
(1) When designing the layout of rural self-built houses, it is necessary to comprehensively consider the indoor functions required by residents. If the area of rural self-built houses is too small, partition design can be considered.
(2) For the indoor layout of rural self-built houses, kitchen space, living space and bathroom space are essential. If you design a rural self-built house with 2-3 floors, the first floor is mainly designed as a public activity area, and the second and third floors are mainly used as living space. The first floor should be designed with a separate bathroom for the elderly, or the bathroom should be set next to the elderly room, which is more convenient for the elderly to live and use.
(3) At present, most rural families have motorcycles or cars, so we can design a garage, which can face south. In addition, we also need to design a storage room or multifunctional room for rural self-built houses, which can be used for both storage and living or as a place for entertainment and leisure.
(4) Self-built houses in rural areas need to be designed with drying space, which is convenient for drying food and clothes.
