How to visit Xishuangbanna?
I don't know if the three to five days you said includes the round-trip time on the road. There are many scenic spots in Xishuangbanna, but they are all distributed around Jinghong City. If this is your first visit to Banna, you can follow this itinerary. D 1: Feitian Banna; Stay in a hotel; D2: Primitive Forest Park+Zhongke Botanical Garden+Firefly Party; Stay in a hotel; D3: Dai Village+Wild Elephant Valley; Stay in a hotel; (Impression of Lancang River cruise or Lancang River drifting) D4: Big Buddha Temple+Gaozhuang-The first day after disembarking: Arrive at the beautiful Xishuangbanna by plane, pick up the plane and arrange to stay in the hotel. In the evening, you can have free activities, visit the night view of Gaozhuang, visit the night market and taste Dai cuisine. Accommodation: Xishuangbanna Binhai International Hotel (Jinghong) Day 2: Rainforest walk in tropical jungle, natural forest oxygen bar, firefly party. After breakfast, set off for the National AAAA Primitive Forest Park, take a sightseeing battery car and watch the 100-meter relief, wild peacock flying performance, unique forest, cottage song and dance performance, Jiulong Waterfall and national musical instrument performance; Visit Tropical Botanical Garden of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and visit Menglun Botanical Garden of China Tropical Botanical Garden by the river. After visiting the China Tropical Rainforest Culture Museum, you can see thousands of rare tropical rainforest plants such as dancing grass, mysterious fruit, blood print tree, strangled tree and bamboo garden. In the evening, in the forest, attend a firefly party. In the quiet forest, fireflies sparkle and decorate the beautiful night. Go back to Jinghong when you are tired of playing. Accommodation: Xishuangbanna Binhai International Hotel (Jinghong) Day 3: Walk into Xishuangbanna-get close to nature, get in touch with elephants and watch peacocks fly; After breakfast, go to Dai village to play Dai village. This village is a typical Dai village. The building is a "dry fence" bamboo building, with bamboo fences between residents to form their own courtyard. Coconuts, bananas, bamboo forests and other fruit trees are planted around Dai villages, which are lush everywhere, with subtropical scenery and exotic customs. After lunch, take a bus to visit Sanchahe Nature Reserve where Asian elephants haunt, feel the tropical virgin forest, and watch rare birds, Asian wild pythons and butterflies. Wild Elephant Valley Elephant School, where you will test the close contact with Asian elephants, show elephants, bathe elephants, clean elephant houses, feed elephants and take photos with elephants. Take part in a cruise or bonfire party in the Lancang River in the evening/rafting in the Lancang River in the afternoon. The best way to visit Lancang River is rafting. The whole Lancang River went down the river in less than two hours. On the way, you will pass the spectacular Xishuangbanna Bridge, a small Dai village with diaojiao buildings, a shoal where you can have a water fight, and an island where you can eat tropical fruits and drink rice wine to feel the Dai customs (warm reminder: drifting in Xishuangbanna is not recommended in rainy season or rainy day). Accommodation: Xishuangbanna Binhai International Hotel (Jinghong) Day 4: Xishuangbanna, the hometown of peacocks, looking for Dai culture and praying in Buddhist temples; After breakfast, go to the Buddha Temple, feel the characteristics here, pray for the safety of your family, appreciate the national culture and architectural style here, go to Xishuangbanna landmark, have afternoon tea, chat, stroll around the streets, wait for the flight time, and fly back to your warm home in the afternoon to end this pleasant trip! The above is my recommended four-day tour. If you have five days, I suggest you add one more day to see the sky tree and climb the first sky corridor with the highest crown in China. Or go to Daiyuan and take part in the Water-splashing Festival every day.
