Start the boot.ini menu and the menu.lst configuration file:

First, boot.ini starts the menu.

1. Find the "My Computer" icon on the desktop, right-click the aiming point and select the "Properties" command;

2. In the system property panel that appears, click the "Advanced" tab at the top, and there are several setting buttons in it;

3. In the "Startup and Recovery" section below, find the "Settings" button and click a startup list with the time and "Edit" button.

The 3 below the box in the first line is the time, the startup menu is displayed for 3 seconds, and the next line is the operating system that automatically enters by default.

Second, menu.lst startup configuration file

1. If you install linux, you will use grub to boot the system. It uses the menu.lst configuration file, which is usually located in the boot folder /boot or root directory of C: disk.

2. You can use Notepad to open this file. Before you modify it, you should make a backup of the line marked with # to show that it doesn't work. The following 3 is to display the menu for 3 seconds, each title is an operating system, and the operating system in the first title is started by default, which can be modified in the default above;
