Dawangdong, called "Crossing Cave" in ancient times, is located between Dashan and Chuanshan in Pailou Town, Chizhou. The rural scenery along the way from the city also attracted me. After arriving at the scenic spot, I took an aerial photo first. If I can live in such a good environment for a few days, I will be very happy.
Aerial photography finished, ready to enter the hole! Only to find that going to the east entrance of Dawang is not that simple. The whole scenic spot is divided into three parts. The first part is the Dawangdong cableway, which is relatively gentle and has a small drop, and it is a traditional "hollow" cableway, that is, people are exposed and there are protective railings, so the view is excellent. The whole ropeway takes about 20 minutes, and it takes one or two hours to drive along the rugged mountain road, so taking the ropeway can not only enjoy the rural scenery, but also save time and money. Why not?
When you get off the Dawangdong cableway, you come to the second part of the scenic spot, Dawangdong Canyon, which is about 2km walk, with beautiful scenery and towering old trees along the way. Among them, the most noteworthy is the Tianqiao wonder, which is 52 meters high, 64 meters wide and 73 meters deep. Poets at all times and all over the world left Mo Bao for this purpose. From the photo, this "overpass" seems small, but if you look closely and compare it with the tourists under the bridge, you can understand my mood at that time, which is shocking.
In addition, there are several waterfalls in the canyon that let me stop. I didn't expect to see the cave and there is such an ornamental canyon waterfall to shoot. The effect is higher than I expected. This is really a treasure attraction!
Ok, after walking through the Dawangdong Grand Canyon, you can finally enter Dawangdong. You will follow the cave to the parking lot of the scenic spot, which is where we get on the ropeway, so this whole tour route will not go back. Dawangdong has a constant temperature of about 18 degrees all the year round, and it feels very comfortable after entering. There are many strange stones in the cave, which are composed of five parts: Phoenix Hall, Dragon Palace, Fairy Garden, Yaochi and Yinhe.
There are many grotesque rocks in Dawangdong, and the lights are beautiful. As for the scenic spots, I won't go into details one by one. What impressed me deeply was that there was an underground river in Dawangdong, and the current seemed to be very urgent. In the spacious area in the middle, you can even take a raft similar to rafting. It is really a unique advanced, no wonder Dawangdong is called "the first cave in East China".
The overall feeling of playing is that the experience of Dawangdong Scenic Area is very rich, with small surprises such as waterfalls and underground rivers. If you travel to Chizhou, this is a very good choice.
