After retirement, he used the waste heat to edit the Military Records of Lanxi City and participated in the compilation of the Geographical Names Records of Lanxi City and the Civil Records of Lanxi City. He is kind and rigorous, and has published many independent works, which is the historical witness of Lanxi's development after the founding of the People's Republic of China.
