2 words of practical experience in nursing homes (5 selected articles)
After some things make us have some experience in our hearts, we can record them by writing our experiences, so that we can record our ideological activities. Many people have a headache how to write a wonderful experience. The following is my 2-word practical experience in nursing homes for reference only. Welcome to read.
Experience of nursing home practice 1
On October 13th, a summer social practice volunteer service team composed of my high school classmates and I entered the nursing home in Jianbi Town, Jingkou District with great joy. As soon as we walked in, we were moved by the simple enthusiasm of the old people. The dean arranged the work for us in advance, and we also started the work in our hands carefully and clearly. In the process, although the sweat was like rain, we did not feel the slightest fatigue. Looking at the smiles on the faces of the old people, our hearts were already full of energy, and it was worthwhile to be tired.
First of all, we arranged for our classmates to be responsible for moving desks and chairs, mopping the floor, scrubbing the seats and other tasks respectively, and then we started our tasks in detail. The dean asked us to move the desks and chairs in the infirmary first, and then the students who swept the floor began to work. We were busy regularly. When we saw that there were not enough people, we actively helped them to do things well. However, while helping them, we also kept our things in order. In their spare time, some students took the initiative to approach the old people to chat with them and measure their blood pressure, caring about their living conditions, and seeing the smiles in their eyes, let alone how warm they felt.
In the middle of our work, the dean kindly let us have a rest, but we didn't feel tired at all, and we kept on doing what we were doing. One of our classmates joined our team despite some minor injuries in the process of doing things, which made us admire very much. Watching them carefully wipe dusty bookshelves with rags and sweat-soaked figures shuttling through the corridor, they forgot that there is only one belief in rest and sultry, just to contribute and create a brand-new comfortable living environment for the old people, and it is worthwhile to be tired again. Unconsciously, it was noon and our task was over, which made the dean very satisfied and happy.
Then, we went into the old people's rooms, canteens and other living places, full of the warmth of home and the care of relatives. After that, we took photos as a souvenir, and the old people also reluctantly said goodbye to us. The dean also warmly welcomed us to come again when we have time, and when we left, we waved goodbye to our grandparents.
people are old enough to fear, but what is terrible is the cold eyes around them. When people get old, it seems that they are pitifully made and are hated by thousands of people. In fact, we shouldn't think like this, because if we think like this, people will be old, their legs and feet will be inconvenient, and their thoughts will be vague, as if they will become a burden to society and will drag it down. In this case, it is not a sin to be old. When they were young, the old people made contributions to the society with their hard work and sweat, big or small, maybe just raising their own children, but in any case, they paid. Now that they are old, society should not abandon them. Although the old people in nursing homes have no children, society has not abandoned them, but has given them great care. They have no family, and their happiness index may be lower, but they should feel satisfied, because behind them are diligent staff, a caring government and a United and powerful Chinese nation. This is the biggest gain of our activity! Experience of nursing home practice 2
I am xxX, a student of Class 1133 of Marketing in XX College. From February 4 to February 1, I went to the nursing home in XX Town, Cili County, Zhangjiajie City to make a practical investigation on the life of the elderly in the nursing home. Now I report the relevant investigation of this practical activity as follows:
First, the content of the activity
There is a kind of sadness that white-haired people send black-haired people. There is a kind of loneliness called solitary and solitary, a kind of injury called congenital disability and acquired incompleteness, and a kind of pain called low intelligence and low energy … However, there is a place where it gives these unfortunate people a warm embrace with the greatest extensibility, so that they also have a home and a place to return. This place is a nursing home, a nursing home for the elderly who are lonely and widowed.
Activity reason: changsha social work college arranged this social practice activity in order to improve students' practical ability and understand the society. Because of the newly-built nursing home in xx Town, Cili County, Zhangjiajie City, Hunan Province, I set the activity place in the nursing home.
my practice: I was going to ask the dean to stamp it at the beginning and take some environmental photos to prove that I had been there. But I didn't see the dean when I first went there, because an old man died, and he was buried next to the house according to his last wish, but he had no children, so he went there to help him take care of the future generations. Of course, I didn't know this until later. At that time, after I introduced my purpose to an old man who was walking outside, he enthusiastically wanted other old people to introduce me. Don't be particularly happy about my arrival. After seeing my camera, they expressed their hope to take pictures. I had a good time with the old people during that half day, so I decided that Yang would do this practice according to the requirements of the college. In the next few days, what I did every day was to help them sweep the floor and chat with them, but they all cleaned the floor early, so I mainly did chat with them.
2. Survey data:
Introduction of XX nursing home:
xx nursing home was formally registered and established at the end of XX, with an investment of nearly 3, yuan. The new clothes were modified to create a relatively comprehensive service center for the elderly for medical treatment, leisure, pension and care, which promoted the process of social welfare and modernization and effectively solved the problems of old people's sense of security, happiness and medical care. Xx nursing home is located at the top of the hill behind the primary school. Although the yard covers a small area, the area outside the yard is still extremely broad, which is definitely a good place for old people to take a leisurely walk.
Life in the nursing home for the lonely elderly in rural areas: There are 22 elderly people in xx nursing home, both grandparents. They are all lonely elderly people without immediate family members, who were sent from various villages. The multi-person foster care mode in the courtyard can provide rest for the elderly, and the room is equipped with a complete set of bedding, and every nursing home for the elderly will distribute clothes for each season, so the elderly don't have to worry about warmth. In addition, each room is equipped with a TV, which also ensures the spiritual life of the old people. There is also an infirmary in the nursing home to ensure that the elderly can see the disease in time without worrying about the high medical expenses of hospitals and pharmacies outside. Three meals a day are cooked by a special chef, with meat for meals and proper combination of meat and vegetarian dishes. Old people can eat hot meals just in Sashido, where the government has prepared a restaurant for them. There are all kinds of applications in the small nursing home, and the living space is comfortable and safe. The lonely old people enjoy life without worries.
General information of the elderly:
xx nursing homes are mostly lonely five-guarantee households. They lack happy experiences such as family, and their feelings are indifferent. They have long lacked the family as a place to cultivate virtues such as affinity, fraternity, attachment and cooperation. In addition, they have physical and mental defects, lack of knowledge and ability, ups and downs and lack of social and emotional care, and many lonely elderly people have personality disorders such as loneliness and indifference. They are afraid of loneliness but don't communicate with others. They are eager for care and comfort but rarely take the initiative to do what they can for others. They want sympathy but are insensitive to the suffering of others.
The fundamental reason is the lack of living resources for the elderly in rural areas, the looseness of social support network, the extreme psychological weakness and behavioral deviation, and the most fundamental reason lies in the lack of fairness and humanity in cultural system, values and community customs.
Third, the survey results:
(1) Before I entered the nursing home, I always thought that the old people would live a happier life here. Because the old people have no worries about food and clothing here and are taken care of by the staff, they can do something they like according to their own interests. For example, they can walk around the courtyard, bask in the sun, sit in the courtyard and chat, and some old people can play with some musical instruments. However, through the investigation of the elderly, it is found that this is not the case. Some old people I chatted with reported that many old people have basically never gone out since they entered the welfare home. For most old people, they mostly stay in their own rooms after eating, and occasionally go out to sit and bask in the sun. A few people with better economic conditions may play mahjong, but most old people rarely communicate with each other.
(2) In this survey, what impressed me most is that the old people are so lonely! I noticed that when I went to see a grandmother, I sat down next to her and started chatting. The old man's eyes were full of despair, as if she were going to die soon. At this time, I clearly feel how eager the elderly are to live a healthy life and how eager someone can care about them! However, as the younger generation, what have we given them? Besides basic life care, how many people can care about and meet the spiritual needs of the old people?
Fourth, the survey experience:
(1) I have gained a lot from this survey, and learned about all aspects of the life of the elderly in welfare homes, especially their mental helplessness. I think we should spare more time to visit the elderly in welfare homes, spend more time chatting with them and bring them more laughter. In fact, when we tell the old people about the school, from the laughter and applause that the old people burst out from time to time, it is not difficult to see that they are very welcome to my arrival and our activities.
(2) Problems found in the investigation:
1. A few elderly people are not active and do not cooperate with treatment when they are sick.
2. Old people have very few leisure activities, except watching TV, they only have to take a walk, which is not conducive to their forming a positive attitude.
3. Old people are lonely.
4. Welfare homes have not been seriously implemented in some places. Moreover, there are various outstanding problems in the minimum living security system, such as narrow coverage, low standards, incomplete coverage, simple security methods and failure to reflect humanistic care.
Five, my suggestions:
1. With the continuous deepening of the cause of providing for the aged in the whole society, it is very important to carry out professional training for service personnel, improve their quality and cultivate their sense of responsibility in such a big environment. This can turn their pressure into motivation at work, release their passion and enthusiasm, melt into work service, treat the elderly like their parents, be careful, enthusiastic and attentive, improve the service level in an all-round way, truly implement the rules and regulations of the nursing home, combine the system with the responsibility, and make every effort to create a social atmosphere of supporting and respecting the elderly, so as to achieve the goal of building a harmonious society.
2. Explore new ways of providing for the aged in the whole society when permitted. Extensive publicity and vigorous advocacy, so that those rich people, entrepreneurs and all walks of life can contribute a little, alleviate the contradiction of insufficient funds, improve the conditions of nursing homes, and promote the good atmosphere of supporting the elderly and respecting the elderly in society, which has made certain contributions to the cause of nursing homes.
4. The elderly who are now hospitalized are frail and sickly, and their age is on the high side. Emergency, chronic diseases and severe diseases are more common, so their hospitalization has become the most difficult problem. Therefore, medical conditions should be improved.
5. There are few fixed slogans and propaganda contents in the whole nursing home. It is suggested to hang and write slogans and slogans suitable for walls, surrounding areas and corridors, as well as spray-painted paintings about respecting and loving the elderly, so as to create a good cultural atmosphere. At the same time, give full play to their respective initiative, sing what they can, say what they can, and pull what they can, so that the residents can actively participate in various activities and enrich their cultural life.
6. Because the school is below the xx nursing home, the person in charge of the hospital can communicate with the school leaders and organize students to go to the nursing home to give send warm to the elderly, because what the elderly want most is to love the nursing home for practice. 3
It is the traditional virtue of the Chinese nation to respect the elderly and love the young. In order to carry forward the excellent tradition, we should strive to create a harmonious and good atmosphere in society, at the same time strengthen our moral cultivation and exercise our social practice ability. With the approval of our college, three students in our class formed a research group and conducted a summer social practice activity on the comparative investigation of nursing homes in the two places from * * to * * -21x.
The scorching sun in July can't stop our progress. The activity went smoothly and achieved good results, adding rich colors to our summer vacation. Here, we will make our own summary of this activity. My roommate and I are in charge of the local nursing home in Nanjing. On the eve of the summer vacation, we tried our best to contact the nursing home. Finally, everything pays off. We contacted a nursing home, Nanjing Boai Apartment for the Aged, and conducted social practice activities there in the summer vacation. Another classmate is in charge of the nursing home in her hometown, and we exchange ideas and encourage each other, so as to gain something. On July 4th, my roommate and I got up early. With the help of Baidu map and the inquiries from strangers all the way, after many twists and turns, we finally found the Nanjing Boai Apartment for the Aged hidden by the Purple Mountain. At this time, we were a little tired, but our efforts finally paid off. Information, we immediately unfurled the courtyard flag at the door to take pictures as a souvenir. With the consent of the enthusiastic staff, we entered the apartment for the elderly.
After entering the apartment, we strolled around at will. In the midsummer season, the apartment is shaded by trees, cicadas are tirelessly calling, and the green coverage rate is not bad. There are daily fitness equipment for the elderly on the green lawn. From the external environment, it is still very suitable for the elderly to live here.
Next, we will get down to business and visit the elderly in the apartment. Just as my roommate and I were thinking about how to knock on the door of the old man, an opportunity came quietly and a water delivery master appeared in front of us. We had a brainwave and offered to help the water delivery master deliver water, knocking on an elderly household on the second floor. When the old people saw us delivering water for her, they immediately became happy and kept thanking us.
We explained the purpose of summer social practice to the elderly, and grandma warmly invited us to her home. Grandma seems to be very lonely. After all, she has lived in an apartment for the elderly without her children for so many years. After asking about the living conditions of the elderly, we took the initiative to chat with the grandmother. Grandma talked about her dissatisfaction with the society, her description of the past decades, and her four years for her children.
during the conversation, we learned that the reason why the elderly live in the apartment is that their children have no time to take care of the elderly when they go out to work, so they are placed in the apartment for the elderly. Grandma invited her children for four years and took extra care of us, personally preparing lunch for us. Although it is a simple two bowls of noodles, it contains grandma's care for us. We can't eat other people's food for nothing. We are very happy to help grandma do housework, from which we can experience the happiness of labor and bring a lot of happiness to grandma. The first day is the most unforgettable day for us, and it is also a microcosm of three days. Through this summer social practice, we learned that there are several main reasons for the elderly to live in apartments for the elderly:
