Dongzao Port Liyashan Island is located in the Yellow Sea, 4 nautical miles northeast of Dongzao Port in Haimen City, west of east longitude 122 degrees 33 minutes, and south of north latitude 32 degrees 10 minutes. This is a natural amphibious island. It rises to a reef and falls to an island, with an average elevation of 4.5 meters. It consists of more than 30 oyster piles of different sizes, such as yellow mud furnace, Hongxi pile, big saddle and eighteen jumps. The island is rich in resources and unique, especially famous for its rich oysters. Therefore, it is called Mount Leah Island, and local fishermen call it oyster pile.

Experts believe that this puzzling special ocean wonder provides a rare perspective for measuring the changes of the mid-latitude ancient ocean in the past 20,000 years, leaving many suspense for the world, which is worthy of in-depth study and is also conducive to the development and popularization of the ocean. At present, the party committees and governments of Haimen City and Dongzaogang Town attach great importance to the development of marine resources and the eco-tourism of Mount Leah Island.
