There are usually available rooms if you check in before 5 pm every day. I don’t know if there are elderly people or children in your family who are traveling here.

If you want to buy tourist souvenirs, you can go back to the Min Street to buy them, or at the Academy Gate
If you want to climb Mount Huashan At sunrise, take a bus at the train station at 5 pm that day, climb the mountain in the evening, and return the next day. If you don’t want to watch the sunrise and are afraid of being tired, you can take the bus at 7 o’clock that morning, take the cable car up to the North Peak, climb the mountain, and then take the cable car down the mountain. You can go back and forth in one day.
There are also some scenic spots in Xi'an, such as Baxian Temple and Daxingshan Temple, which are both good.
