I still remember that at the beginning, I wanted to plan my career and be a psychological counselor. My parents object that my own psychological problems can't be solved well. Don't mislead others! These two days of study have given me a clear position on social workers.

Although I especially love the social work industry, I feel that the social work industry really can't keep people.

There are two reasons why the social work industry can't keep people: first, the salary is low, and second, it can't be recognized by society. Because I am an only child, I have been living in fairy tales since I was a child. Food and clothing, no economic pressure. My parents' greatest expectation for me is to be safe and happy. I always want to do my best to help those who need help, but I am afraid that my kindness will be misunderstood and distrusted by others. Social work industries are divided into different categories, such as home care services for the elderly, empty nesters and solitary people, campus anti-bullying youth projects, community volunteers, and even social work projects for factory women workers who are pregnant and have abortions due to weak sexual knowledge ... As long as there is demand, there are projects where social workers exist. Social worker, I think it is a very human and warm industry.

From the overall development trend, the social work industry will go through three stages, namely, the stage of dealing with social problems, the stage of practical application in life, and the stage of fairness accepted and recognized by the social work industry in the later stage. In this process, social workers should not only have the ability to do demand-oriented short-term services to exit the scene, but also have the ability to do scene-oriented integration services. Teacher Tong Min said, "How to do it is a professional matter, but what others care about is the effect of the work." My understanding of this sentence is that before learning the professional knowledge of social workers, we may sum up methods from our work experience, which everyone in society can do; After learning the professional knowledge of social work, we can sum up the skills of social work on the basis of "experience+specialty" and integrate the theory as the support of the model, so as to provide more professional and accurate services for the clients.

Social work is an industry. Not a volunteer, not a public welfare project, no commercial profit.
