Dalian Development Zone and Dalian Jinzhou Development Zone are the same place.

Dalian Jinzhou Economic Development Zone is located in the west of Jinzhou District, Dalian. 1992 was approved by Dalian Municipal People's Government as a municipal development zone in June, 2002, and was promoted to a provincial development zone.

Jinzhou Economic Development Zone is located in the west of Jinzhou, a thousand-year-old city, on the bank of Jinzhou Bay. It is the only way to Dalian. The traffic network is dense. Harbin-Dalian Railway, Harbin-Dalian Expressway, Shenyang-Dalian Expressway, Jincheng Railway, newly-built Shugang Road 1 No.2 leading to Dayaowan Port and the proposed Harbin-Dalian Express Railway Passenger Dedicated Line run through the east, west, north and south.
