Days of business trip in Germany (foraging)

5. China Special Year.

I have eaten all kinds of New Year's Eve dinners. Only this time is unforgettable.

During our stay in Germany, we just crossed China and the West for two years and caught up with Easter.

In this remote German town, there was no Chinese style at that time. In our company, there is a German who knows something about China. Knowing that we had this festival, he sent us their delicious snacks that day. This is a very soft bread. I don't know whether it is because of this friendship or because the bread is really delicious. We all praised it after eating it.

Besides bread, he brought us something special, a menu with pictures and dishes he brought from China. What a special gift! When I was reading the name of the dish loudly, one of them smashed his mouth unscrupulously. At this moment, don't talk about big fish and big meat, just give me a plate of fried vegetables and I will be satisfied. I don't know how happy I am to grow up in China and not go abroad.

On New Year's Eve, the four of us decided to get together in a room for the New Year.

I took out a rare and eye-catching food version: instant noodles. Brought from China and sent by the leaders, all of them have been used up. Only I secretly left this last bucket of precious China instant noodles.

I soaked for a while, and immediately there came a long-lost attractive fragrance in the room. The four of us and three big men joined me and shared the last bucket of instant noodles with relish and reluctance. They are grateful to me, because I saved this bucket of instant noodles, which has a taste of China this year.

6. Food for local people

It should be during Christmas. The German friend who claimed to be an expert on China decided to take us to Berlin.

This German friend is tall and generous, much like our Shandong people here. He said that he had been to Qingdao once, so he had some feelings for the people of China and China. His English is not good, and neither are we, so sometimes there are some obstacles in communication. Fortunately, every time he struggles to express himself, I can always guess what he means, so he says that he likes to communicate with me best because I "understand" him.

We went to Berlin by train, and this German friend brought us a lunch specially made by his wife, which should be a hot dog! We gratefully accepted the food he offered and thought it was probably a German home-cooked dish. After biting, I found that the taste was really full of praise. Out of courtesy, I gulped down the hot dog.

I really felt sorry for the Germans at that time. So this is what they eat every day! Friends who are familiar with German food should not pat bricks. In fact, we don't know what food he brought us that day. Maybe it's not delicious for the Germans! )

Another time, I went to Austria on business with two executives of their company and went to a place similar to our service area for dinner. I didn't know much at that time. When I saw the red spaghetti, I thought it was spaghetti with Chili sauce, so I ordered it without hesitation.

It turns out that the spicy I imagined turned into the sweet and sour I didn't like. I didn't like the taste at all, but out of courtesy and for the sake of China people's face, I managed to swallow that plate of spaghetti, which was really not easy.

When we are about to return to China, we are invited to have a more formal German meal. I don't remember what we ate. I guess we don't particularly like it either! I only remember the beautiful environment and piano accompaniment.

7.chocolate and beer

I have always regretted two things since I came back from Germany. I didn't buy chocolate when I was here. I bought too little before I came back!

At that time, I just wanted to save money, thinking about how to solve the problem of food and clothing every day, and never thought of buying a chocolate to try.

I bought some for my relatives and friends in the supermarket before returning home, but I still don't want to eat one first. When I came back to taste it with my family, I found that German chocolate tastes really good. At that time, chocolate in China was not expensive, and I regretted it!

There used to be so many delicious chocolates in front of me that I didn't buy them. If you give me another chance, I will definitely buy one piece every day!

When returning home, three male colleagues brought German beer. I can't drink, so I don't agree with their practice of bringing beer. I thought there was any good beer worth carrying as far as Wan Li!

However, the three of them thought it was too boring not to bring some German beer back to their buddies, so they bought a lot of them. When they arrived at the airport, they were almost overweight, and they all shared it with me. Otherwise, they may choose to drink all the extra drinks at the airport.

8. lose weight collectively

We arrived at Shanghai airport when we came back. We didn't rush back, but went to different restaurants for several meals, in order to relieve hunger as soon as possible.

Back in the city where the company is located, we began to treat each other. At the dinner table, we recalled our bitter experience and praised every dish.

When I went, two male colleagues were very fat, and I was of medium height. We all lost more than ten kilograms when we came back, but before long, we were beaten back to our original shape by Chinese food.

We only stayed in Germany for three months, because it was a long time ago, and we went to a small city, which is probably very different from the life of the jet lag party now, but it is precisely because of this that I think it is very meaningful to record these things.
