First of all, sacrifice to the jade emperor
On the fifteenth day of the twelfth lunar month, the custom of worshipping the jade emperor prevailed in many places, which was an important content before the Spring Festival. Worship the jade emperor, also known as "offering sacrifices to the jade emperor", was told by the old people that the jade emperor's surname was Zhang Mingjian. He was smart and kind when he was young, and full of love and compassion when he grew up. After he succeeded to the throne, he managed the country well. Shortly after taking office, he gave up the throne to a minister, lived in the mountains, practiced devoutly, and was crowned the Jade Emperor of Heaven after 132 million robberies.
Second, eat jiaozi.
On the afternoon of the fifteenth day of the twelfth lunar month, every household is busy chopping stuffing, kneading dough and wrapping jiaozi. Before the sun goes down, the husband will stamp the burnt paper with a special "paper stamp". Burning paper must be placed neatly, and printed money tickets must not overlap. If they overlap, they are useless waste paper. So this business must be undertaken by adults. In the meantime, please ask a learned old man to write a "peace document" with a brush to pray for peace to the Jade Emperor on behalf of the whole family.
Third, food with a rich tail.
Tail teeth originated from the custom of worshipping the earth god as "teeth". The so-called second day of February is the first tooth. From now on, every second and sixteenth day is the "tooth", which happens to be the tail tooth on the 16th day of the twelfth lunar month. For example, on February 2nd, Weiya has spring cakes (called Runbing in the south). On this day, buyers and sellers will hold a banquet, and boiled chicken is an essential dish at the banquet. It is said that the boss will fire whoever the head of a chicken faces next year.
