Because this case happened in the 1980s and 1990s, when the monitoring facilities in Indonesia were not perfect, the bodies of those victims were not found after they disappeared. If the body of one of the victims is not found, the case will be difficult to solve. 1997, a farmer in Indonesia accidentally found a body while working in the field. He panicked. Call the police. Later, after the police conducted an inquest into the scene where the body was buried, they thought it was the first crime scene, so they searched the land around the body for more items that could prove the identity of the victim. As a result, the police unexpectedly found more bodies.
By the end of all the investigations, the police had found the bodies of 42 victims, all of whom were women, aged around 20. After confirming their identities, the police began to look for possible suspects according to their social relations. Later, the police found that these women had contacted the wife of a man named Ahmed without exception before they were killed.
So the police tracked down Ahmed and found that he was a major suspect. Until the murder, he was trying to do this for some young women? Witchcraft? Activities. According to Ahmed, he found many young women through his three wives, all of whom hoped to become richer or more beautiful through witchcraft. Then Ahmed will take them to the sugarcane field, bury their bodies and strangle them. After these women died, Ahmed buried their heads. Later, Indonesian police executed Ahmed in 2007.
