Documents and bills

1. passport, air tickets, or you can't get on the plane.

2. Many lists emphasize the need to make a good copy of your passport, and you should also bring your domestic diploma, IELTS test report, and the originals and copies of all the documents you applied for. The actual situation is that your school informs you to bring it, otherwise you will add luggage without it. And these important things cannot be lost. Generally, schools don't ask to see these, because they have already seen them when they get a visa. When I came, only the admission notice was useful, not the copy.

3. ID photo. If you want to bring it, just bring a passport photo (visa photos of European countries are passport photos). Actually, I don't need it at ordinary times. People make student cards, and they all take them on the spot. But it's difficult to go abroad. Of course, you have to travel everywhere, and you need photos to get a visa.

4. International Travel Health Certificate. This is very important. If you can't get to London airport, you have to queue up for a chest X-ray, which will delay the customs clearance time.

5. Pound in cash. I brought it. It's not a big amount, but it's not small. 1500. Hehe, I don't feel dangerous. God knows everything about X-ray machines. No one knows if you don't make a noise and bring the money. It's not easy to go abroad, so save money on the draft. Of course, I can't believe I have to separate it from change. Of course, anyone with a money order can ~ ~

Electrical class

1. I hardly brought any household appliances. I bought them all second-hand when I arrived. Basically, every university has its own China Student Forum. If your school is small, you can look at the forums of nearby schools. There are all kinds of second-hand transactions on the forum. There are rice cookers, table lamps, all kitchen utensils and quilts. All my tools related to eating were bought second-hand when I arrived. It's not expensive to buy new ones, such as argos and tesco.

2. Bring your own computer. It's not cheap here either, unless you are bent on buying a MAC. Be sure to bring all the computer accessories. Especially data lines and so on. It is suggested to buy a computer liner bag on Taobao. The inner bag here is super expensive. You don't need to carry a computer bag in class at ordinary times (it's not convenient to cross and shoulder)

Don't forget the digital camera! Pat everywhere ~ unless your mobile phone is Sony Ericsson's camera phone …

4. mobile phone. It is recommended to bring it from China, so that you can send Chinese text messages. Come here to buy a sim card (basically there will be a free sim card at the beginning of school), and choose to pay as you go. Because I don't make phone calls much, and I don't want to use my mobile phone to surf the Internet or anything, it's not cost-effective to sign a mobile phone. The beautiful mobile phone here, if signed, the price is still very high, and the general contract is not 12 months.

If you live outside, you may need to bring a mop. I live on campus, and there are many plugs, so there is no need to bring them.

6. Change the plug. Take two. One has a computer and basically has no free time, and the other is more flexible. Bring another European standard, which is needed for travel.

7. The last thing you need to bring: a rice cooker (unless you can't find a second-hand one), a small desk lamp (argos's is just over 3 kg), an alarm clock (just a mobile phone), a female razor (it's super cheap when it's on sale here, and my classmate bought a 25 kg one), a hair dryer (just buy a second-hand one), a straight hair curling iron and other hairdressing products (it's also good when it's on sale here).

articles for daily use

1. check box. Depends on how many things you bring. The quality should not be too good, after all, it has only been used several times. Not too bad. People who unload luggage are very rough. I didn't have the boarding box, so I took a small travel bag and put something to eat or use.

2. bag. Take a backpack, which you can carry in class and travel. There are many postman bags here. I think primark's is very cheap, 6 pounds each, and some are cheaper, so you can throw them away on your back. I carried a small satchel all the way, and I haven't used it so far.

3. Gifts from China. Take less. I brought some China festivals. I don't even have a chance to give it away, and foreigners won't be so good at giving you things.

4. medicine More or less. Although it may not reach the end. But just in case. The room here is prone to allergic eczema, so bring some ointment and something for clearing away heat and toxic materials.

It depends on your major. I brought two books about thesis writing, and I didn't even read them when I wrote my thesis. Don't worry, because there will be language-assisted courses for international students.

6. quilt. I live in a dormitory and ordered a bedding package. There are duvets (thick), sheets, quilt covers, pillows, towels and bath towels. However, it's best to bring another set of sheets and quilt cover for a change. I also brought a thin nine-hole quilt cover in summer. Of course, quilts can also be bought second-hand.

7. Girls' accessories are better. Here you are, but I think they are expensive. I also brought beauty tools, but the boots here are all for sale and not expensive. Not to mention cosmetics. Tesco and Bozi have them here. I remember that both companies can apply for membership cards for free. The more they buy, the more feedback they get.

8. Glasses (frames, contact lenses) here are very expensive. If the nursing liquid is not overweight, carry it on your back. It's still quite expensive here.

9. Umbrella. Buy a sturdy folding umbrella. Although it's windy here, the umbrella I brought is not broken, and the big MAC umbrella I bought here is broken ...)

10. stationery. I brought too many pens to replace the refills. You don't usually need it here. Tesco's ballpoint pens are super cheap, 20 1 pound. I don't use my notebook much, I just need to recite some loose-leaf pages. The notebook paper here is still expensive. Use a folder and a big U-shaped folder to distribute some documents and handouts.

1 1. slippers. Buy plastic slippers and cotton slippers with bath in primark. They are very good and cheap. ...

12. Towels. The price here is similar to that of domestic gold brands.

13. Cup. The mugs here are more expensive, but the glasses are cheaper. A large glass costs only 40P.

14. Underwear. The price here is similar to that in China. It's all in the supermarket.

15. socks. I haven't bought anything here, but I always think it's better in China.

16. hats, scarves and gloves. The ones here are super expensive! ! ! A broken hat is worth 8 pounds.

17. Kitchen supplies. As mentioned above, it is basically used. Cooking, pots and shovels are quite expensive. If you can't buy a second-hand rice cooker, bring it. It is not expensive to buy new dishes and chopsticks in the supermarket. Tesco's box lunch is 1 pound. There seem to be five or six spoons in it, 70P. Ikea's kitchen utensils are very cheap, but some are not. Chopsticks are expensive here. Bring two pairs from home.

18. Toothbrush and toothpaste. Take some toothbrushes. I brought toothpaste, but it's not expensive here. There's no need to bring it.

19. Dry goods, snacks. Take it. Mushrooms and fungi and so on. But there are supermarkets in China, which are not too expensive. Just buy it locally. Despite these dry goods, you can't eat much in a year. I only brought seaweed soup packets. Like Laoganma Chili sauce and sauce, these are too heavy, and they are available in supermarkets. Don't bring them.

20. sunglasses. I didn't bring my myopia glasses. However, Dior, D&; G are big-name sunglasses, and they are very cheap.

2 1. Many posts said to bring sanitary napkins. It is said that foreigners use cotton swabs. Actually, it's not. They are all available in supermarkets, and the prices are not expensive. Don't worry.

clothes

The clothes and shoes here are very cheap and the styles are good when they are on sale. So don't take too many clothes, just buy them with a credit card. I'll make a list of things you shouldn't bring.

1. Don't take the high collar. Can be opened, easy to put on and take off.

2. Don't bring thermal underwear. But autumn trousers are necessary. Wear pants for two days in winter, or you will get arthritis. And you can wear it when sleeping in winter.

3. Don't bring a small suit. Domestic expensive, few styles. British people love suits, there are many styles, and the price is not as expensive as that in China. Many forums say what formal clothes to bring, but they have never used them at all. You always wear a skirt or something when you go to parties (speaking of which, remember to bring more pantyhose, thick or thin, here are leggings without socks), so buy them here.

4. Don't bring sports shoes. Put it on. The cheapest thing here is sports shoes. Sports store special shoes are super cheap. Don't bring high heels. You can't walk more. Take boots with you at home, because the boots here are too expensive. If not, you can buy it when you come, and you can buy it cheaply at a discount, about 30 kg. Not a big brand, of course. It is impossible for a big brand not to go on the road.

PS: Students must buy a water filter when they arrive. The water in Britain is hard water, and hair loss is very serious. ...
