A complete list of ways to eat and prepare tuna: diced tuna mixed with green onions, tuna POKE rice, cooked tuna steaks, vegetable tuna cakes, and tuna rice balls.
1. Mix diced tuna with onions: cut white onions into shreds, soak in ice water and place on the bottom of a plate. Place diced tuna on top of white onions. Sprinkle some chopped green onion on the fish. Just prepare the dipping sauce according to your personal taste.
2. Tuna POKE rice: Cut the cucumber and radish into cubes and put them into a large bowl. Add diced fish, pour in a little soy sauce and lime juice and stir. Pour the mixed ingredients over the rice. Add shredded seaweed and serve with appropriate amount of salad dressing.
3. Deli tuna steak: Marinate the tuna steak with seasonings for four to five hours. When marinating, use a knife to cut open the fish to add more flavor. Heat oil in a pan, add fish fillets, and fry for 1.5 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking. Put one or two slices of lemon on the fish fillet to remove the fishy smell and relieve the greasiness. After frying, pour fish fillet sauce over it and serve.
4. Vegetable tuna cakes: Chop the tuna meat. Chop the cabbage. After mixing the flour with water, add the chopped tuna and cabbage and stir. Pour oil into the pan, press the dough into a round cake shape and fry in the pan until both sides are golden brown.
5. Tuna rice balls: Add a small handful of purple rice to the rice, wash and mix well. Add the usual amount of water for simmering rice. Put the rice in a rice cooker to steam and simmer for twenty minutes. Cut the seasoned radish strips into small dices and cut the tuna into small dices. Prepare the roasted seaweed shreds. Mix the rice, diced tuna, diced radish and purple rice evenly, add an appropriate amount of salt and put on gloves to form a rice ball. You can stick some shredded seaweed on it.
