It starts from the south of the Yellow Sea in the north, passes through the East China Sea and the Taiwan Province Strait, and reaches the east of Leizhou Peninsula in the South China Sea in the south. The fish is a gregarious fish in warm temperate zone, and often inhabits the middle and lower layers of offshore waters within 60 meters. The breeding season of large yellow croaker is spring and autumn. During the breeding period, fish migrate from the open sea to the offshore in batches. As a precious economic fish, Pseudosciaena crocea has long been favored by consumers.
