How to preserve summer meals and avoid spoilage?
With the arrival of summer, high temperature weather is easy to spoil food, and in the summer of continuous high temperature, all kinds of food are also easy to spoil, so the refrigerator has become an indispensable partner in daily life. How to store food so that it is not easy to deteriorate has become a concern of everyone.

1, storage time is limited.

The cold storage time of raw meat is generally 1 ~ 2 days, and that of fruits and vegetables is 3 ~ 5 days. Eggs can be refrigerated in the refrigerator for up to 15 days. Clean the dirty eggshells first, but don't wash them with water. After five days of cold storage, it is best not to eat green leafy vegetables even if they do not change color. In the freezer, it is best not to store fish for more than two months. If the meat turns yellow when it is cold, it means that the fat has been oxidized and it is best to discard it.

2. Pay attention to food placement

Don't put too much food, and there should be a gap between it and the refrigerator wall to facilitate air circulation. Raw meat eaten in the short term should be placed in the lower layer of the refrigerator, and meat that is not eaten for the time being should be placed in the frozen layer. The temperature in the cold room is low and high, and animal foods such as fish and meat should be placed on it, while fruits and vegetables should be placed below. Separate raw and cooked leftovers to avoid cross-contamination. Generally, cooked food is above and raw food is below.

Pay attention to frozen meat, frozen food, etc. You can't put it in the refrigerator for the second time after thawing, otherwise it will easily breed bacteria and deteriorate. In the freezer, cold drinks and other foods are placed on the upper floor, and frozen fish and meat are placed on the lower floor. Carbonated drinks, beer, etc. Can't put it in the freezer, or it will explode easily.

3. Green leafy vegetables

This vegetable goes bad easily. Green leafy vegetables are mostly cool-loving vegetables, and the suitable temperature is 0℃~4℃, preferably not lower than 0℃. Moreover, this vegetable has high biological activity, too strict seal and too much water, which is easy to breed bacteria and make vegetables rot and deteriorate. So don't wash it with water before putting it in the refrigerator, just put it in a perforated fresh-keeping bag and put it in the refrigerator for preservation. However, it should be noted that green leafy vegetables should not be near the inner wall of the refrigerator, and the storage time should not exceed 3 days.

4. Fruit

Most fruits need to be put into the freezer. If stored at room temperature, strawberries and grapes can be kept for a day or two, and apples and oranges can be kept for more than a week. Some tropical fruits, such as bananas and mangoes, don't need to be kept in the refrigerator.

5. Cooked meat

Cooked meat such as dried meat and bacon can be stored at room temperature, eaten as soon as possible after opening, and the unfinished meat is put in the refrigerator. If it's braised pork products, such as braised pork and braised pig's trotters, it's best to buy and eat them now. If you can't eat it right away, you'd better put it in the freezer.

6, rice noodles and other staple foods

Raw staple foods such as rice, flour and beans can be stored in a dry place at room temperature. It is best to ventilate rice regularly to dissipate heat; Flour and beans should be sealed.

7. Dairy products

There are a lot of bacteria in the refrigerator, and milk is particularly susceptible to bacteria and absorbs odor, especially when the milk package is opened, you should be extra careful. Bottled milk should be put into the refrigerator by tightening the lid, while bagged milk must be sealed three times, then clamped with small clips and stored vertically in the refrigerator. It is best to drink it on the same day. Cheese should be packed in breathable packaging materials and then stored in the refrigerator.

8. Bean products

Soybean products with high protein content and high water content are especially suitable for microbial reproduction, especially in summer, which is easy to deteriorate after being placed at high temperature for three to five hours. Therefore, buy back soy products must be eaten as soon as possible. Tofu can be blanched with boiled salt water and then put in the refrigerator, so it can be kept for about two days. Blanching with salt water can reduce microbial growth, prevent tofu from becoming sticky and prolong storage time; Dried tofu should be placed in the refrigerator closest to the inner wall. If the surface is sticky, don't eat. Soymilk can be stored overnight if it is directly refrigerated in the refrigerator.

9. Regular disinfection is necessary.

Long-term closed refrigerators will have bacterial residues, which will affect the quality of ingredients and the health of consumers. It is best to clean the refrigerator once a week in summer and sterilize it. In addition to the conventional parts, we should pay more attention to spraying and disinfecting the dead corners such as drip tanks and partition tanks inside the refrigerator with special disinfectant for refrigerators. After spraying the inner wall and dead corner of the refrigerator, close the refrigerator door for 5 ~ 10 minutes, let the disinfectant fully sterilize, and finally wipe it clean with a rag.
