Tibetan food is a traditional diet in the snowy plateau of Tibet. The main raw materials of Tibetan food are Bazin, butter tea, beef and mutton, highland barley wine and dairy products.
When you go to Tibet, you must try some local specialties. Hotels and restaurants in Lhasa, Shannan, Shigatse and Linzhi mainly serve Sichuan cuisine and Hunan cuisine. Of course, there are all kinds of distinctive Tibetan restaurants. Foreign guests can make appropriate arrangements according to their own tastes and preferences. Tibetan compatriots often get together in Karin (Park) to have a good time together.
"Karin" is equivalent to an outing or picnic in the mainland. Every year from May 1 day to June 10 in the Tibetan calendar, people choose a suburban place with blue sky, white clouds, streams and fragrant grass, bring food and butter tea and have fun.
Besides the well-known Bazin and butter tea, there are many delicious snacks at the party.
This was taken when I was taking care of Karin in the partridge grassland. The main foods are yak meat, mutton and potatoes. The Buddha spots on the plateau are only over 80 degrees. In this case, it only takes more than 40 minutes to cook beef and mutton without pressure cooker.
There is an image metaphor. Cattle and sheep on the plateau "eat cordyceps when hungry and drink mineral water when thirsty", so the meat is delicious and original. When eating, guests can eat salt or pepper and divide it with a knife.
Crispy cheesecake made of butter, broken milk residue, water and brown sugar is called "fading". This cake has a unique flavor and is the best side dish to eat Bazin.
This was taken at a party in nagqu grassland. There are mutton, beef and blood sausage on the plate, which is similar to sausage-shaped "blood sausage". Mainly Bazin and rice, usually vegetarian with various seasonings according to taste. If you add meat, you can make it into meat. Tibetan oil is spicy, and mutton, beef and blood sausage are all dipped in it.
Disposable plastic bowls are filled with four kinds of snacks: yogurt, ginseng fruit, pimple and rice. There are ghee, milk residue and brown sugar in the dough. There are raisins, butter and sugar in the rice bowl.
Tibetan potato, which is unique to Tibet, has a long growth period, sufficient sunlight and high starch content. They are all processed in the simplest way, soft and crisp and delicious! This is the need of the party.
Between the mountains and forests, it is more romantic to enjoy the food on the snowy plateau in laughter. If Ge Sang blooms, it will be even more wonderful!
