Cornell method is a systematic and complete note-taking method, covering the whole process from class recording to after-class review. The following are the specific steps:
First of all, the notebook is divided into three parts, which I summarize as "big right, small left and long down".
The right part occupies 70% of the whole page, which is called "main column";
The left part is "sidebar" and the lower part is "summary area", each accounting for about 15% of the whole page.
Of course, you can also set the paper to "big left, small right and long down" according to your personal preference.
Cornell notes consist of three parts:
Outline area: theme, definition name, concept
Note area: detailed description (charts, figures, cases, details)
Summary area: inspiration, to-do list, summary and feeling.
