In fact, Buddhism does not eat fishy meat. "fishy" refers to the meat and eggs of animals, and "fishy" refers to five plants that are easy to destroy practice: garlic; Leek; Onions; Shantou Hexingqu (Xingqu only grows in India and Xinjiang), also known as "Five Meat". So together, "animal" is slowly abbreviated as "animal"!

Many people think that five meats are plants. Why can't I eat? In fact, the impact is enormous:

First of all, the Buddha mentioned in the Shurangama Sutra that after eating five meats, there is an unpleasant smell in his mouth, which is not conducive to communication with people and immortals. On the contrary, it will attract ghosts, which is not conducive to your own cultivation and growth.

Secondly, the five meats are foods born of unhealthy qi in heaven and earth, which are heavy and poisonous, and will hurt the internal organs if eaten (some of them also enhance sexual desire, you know, so you can't eat them); Monk calm down, light and not heavy, stop eating!

1 garlic: sad and irritable, eating too much is easy to be sloppy.

2 Onions: kidney injury consumes water and gas. Eating too much will make you feel unstable and panic.

3 leek: it hurts the liver and makes it angry, and it is easy to get angry.

4. [xiè] is what we call "the head of a chicken", which hurts the spleen, gets stuck in the rustic atmosphere, has poor spleen and pancreas, and is often troubled and depressed.

5 Xingqu: Injuring the lung, shielding the golden gas, and lung fatigue often shows a pessimistic attitude.
