The cold weather in late spring can be described as both advantages and disadvantages. The process of cooling and precipitation can improve air quality and reduce the meteorological grade of forest fire danger. However, it has some adverse effects on the safety of fruit trees and greenhouse facilities that have entered or are about to enter flowering period. In addition, in areas with large wheat population, wheat diseases are prone to occur and spread after precipitation.
According to meteorological data, since 196 1 year, there has been a regional cold air process * * *1time in late March in our province, once every 5.4 years on average. The strongest process was 2065438+March 22nd, 2009, and the lowest temperature dropped to 14.9℃. Although the cold air process is slightly weaker than that on March 22, the adverse impact on agriculture and transportation in our province should not be underestimated. To this end, the Henan Provincial Emergency Management Office reminded:
Strengthen comprehensive monitoring and early warning of natural disasters. Meteorological departments should strengthen comprehensive disaster risk monitoring, forecasting, consultation and judgment, pay close attention to the development and changes of disastrous weather, release comprehensive natural disaster monitoring and early warning information in advance, and do a good job in accurate release of early warning information.
Strengthen crop management and reduce the impact of low temperature and freezing injury. In the northern and western mountainous areas where fruit trees have entered flowering period, measures such as early irrigation or spraying antifreeze can be taken; Facility agriculture should overhaul and strengthen greenhouse facilities in time; Fertilization should be properly supplemented in winter wheat fields lacking fertilizer, dry and wet clods should be discharged as soon as possible, waterlogging damage should be reduced, and dynamic monitoring and comprehensive control of wheat diseases and insect pests should be done well.
Strengthen traffic management. Transportation departments should guard against the adverse effects of slippery roads and low visibility weather on transportation, urban operation and epidemic prevention.
