Medical examination expenses related to non-disease treatment cannot be reimbursed through medical insurance hospitalization.

6. Physical examination of the elderly: Physical examination of the elderly, focusing on the prevention and management of chronic diseases and geriatric diseases.

Generally speaking, the purpose of physical examination is to find diseases at an early stage, evaluate health risks and guide a healthy lifestyle.

To sum up, the basic medical insurance fund does not cover the general health examination expenses of individuals, only the necessary examinations during the treatment of diseases can be reimbursed, and the hospitalization medical examination expenses unrelated to treatment are not covered by medical insurance reimbursement.
