The Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, which has a history of more than 2,500 years, is a great miracle of China, and is equally famous as the Great Wall of Wan Li. In the section of the ancient canal across Wuxi, Wuqiao, which is about 6 kilometers long, passes through Xishui Pier, South Gate and Qingming Bridge, which is the most charming water town in the south of the Yangtze River. Qingming Bridge, located at the intersection of the ancient canal and Dubo Port outside the south gate, is the best scenic spot in Wuxi section of the ancient canal.
