One household: rural hukou may not be able to apply for homestead, but only people who live in rural areas all the year round can. Members of the collective economy can also apply. There are many people in a household registration. If you want to apply for a homestead, you can divide the household first, but the household needs to meet certain conditions. At least one person in the family who grows up when needed is uncapped.
A house: there is only one piece of land applied for. With this land certificate, it means owning a house. If a family applies for multiple homesteads at the same time, it will not succeed, and there will be no homestead certificate. Without a certificate, there is no legal protection. Forced construction is illegal construction, which will be dismantled and recovered without any compensation.
Paragraph 1 of Article 62 of the Land Management Law: Rural villagers can only own one homestead, and the area of the homestead shall not exceed the standards set by provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government.
