The Lantern Festival Banquet in Taishun County is a unique and ancient custom of the Lantern Festival. It developed from the original "making spring blessings" and was a prayer ceremony held within the clansmen, with the purpose of "gathering clansmen, doing business with clansmen, praying for a bumper harvest and ensuring peace". It started in the Northern Song Dynasty and has a history of more than 970 years. According to legend, in the Southern Song Dynasty, the ancestors of Zhangzhai Village in Sankui Town fled from Qinghe, Hebei Province to escape the war. The ancestors of the Zhang family drink reunion wine together at the Lantern Festival on the fifteenth day of the first month of each year. The predecessor of "Hundred Family Banquets" is "ancestral hall wine", and its scope is limited to local family dinners. Gradually, it gradually evolved into a friendly dinner-a hundred banquets. It is said that it was very popular in Ming and Qing Dynasties.
