Where is Xiling Lake?
It was Li Daoyuan who first mentioned Xiling Lake. He said: "There is Xiling Lake, also known as Xicheng Lake. To the west of the lake is Hucheng Mountain, and to the east is Xiajia Mountain. On the lake, the demon is on the stream and betting on Jianjiang. " Li Daoyuan was born in 466 or 472 AD and died in 527 AD. He was born in Zhuozhou (now Zhuoxian, Hebei Province) in the Northern Wei Dynasty. Father Li Fan, a former Qingzhou secretariat, Shangshu Youcheng, Pingdong general Qingzhou secretariat. Li Daoyuan ran with his father since childhood, and entered the official career in the eighteenth year of Taihe (494), serving as an official and assistant minister, taking photos of ministers and admonishing officials. Later, he was killed in the post of official tour ambassador, and the court made him an official and a secretariat of Jizhou. Daoyuan never set foot in the south in his life, so Zhu has the shortcoming of "detailed in the north and slightly in the south". The geographical locations of "Xiajiashan" and "Yaogaoxi" cited above have always been vague, which makes readers feel disconsolate. Ming Wanli's "Shaoxing Fu Zhi" says: "Xiagai Mountain (a" Xiajiashan ") is six miles north of Shangyu County." It means not in Xiaoshan. Mao Qiling said: "Xiling Lake is also called Xicheng Lake. If it is close to Xiling, it is called Xiling Lake. Because it is west of Chengshan, it is called Xicheng Lake. " (Xiaoshan County Records Error) The two sentences "near Xiling" and "in the west of Chengshan" explain the geographical location of Xiling Lake, indicating that the former Xiling Lake is today's Baima Lake. Qing Qianlong's "Xiaoshan County Records Mountains and Rivers" contains Shi Mao's comments: "The old and new records do not contain this lake, but the government records contain it, which must be based on it." Xiling Lake exists objectively. So where is Xiajiashan? Qing Gu Zuyu said: "Twenty-five miles west of Xiaoshan County, there is a mountain, Xiling Lake, also known as Xiajia Lake. The mountain is in the lake, and it is also called Cuizhang Mountain several miles to the river. " This article is even more puzzling, because there are no such mountains and lakes in Xiaoshan. The draft of Xiaoshan County Records and Mountains and Rivers in the Republic of China said: "People in this city either regard Huilong Mountain or Yejiashan in Zihongling as it, all of which are in the west of Baima Lake." Press: The two mountains listed above belong to Puyan Street, Binjiang District, Hangzhou. Baima Lake "There are many islands in the lake, with lakes in the islands and staggered harbors" (1The Comprehensive Survey Report of Urban Geology in People's Republic of China (PRC)-Hangzhou Sheet and Linpu Sheet published by Zhejiang Bureau of Geology and Mineral Resources in July, 987) is very consistent with Gu's description of Xiling Lake. Xiling Lake, also known as Baima Lake, is not today's Xianghu Lake, because Yuewangcheng Mountain is separated between the two lakes.
