2. The opportunity to clean up the ancient times

If you are playing speedrunning, or if you are an autumn God of War, go into the cave in the first autumn, but I do not recommend it at all to newbies, because enough construction and preparation work needs to be done in the first autumn. It will be a great time. The first four seasons of summer are the most comfortable. There will be no overheating underground, no need to worry about earthquakes, and no need to worry about things in your home catching fire spontaneously.

3. Preparation work:

1. The basic supplies are enough food to restore blood, armor, weapons, and lighting. Just make these based on your own abilities and daily habits. 2. Live wood, nightmare fuel, prepare more to take with you. 3. The tools include: two gold picks (for mining statues), 1 hammer (for hammering broken clockwork piles). 4. Pack a box and prepare to place it next to the repaired [Ancient Pseudoscience Station]. Because gems will be broken by things dropped by earthquakes, they must be placed in the box! 5. You need to master the basic methods of killing clockwork monsters and shadow monsters, otherwise you will not be able to go to ancient times.

4. Steps to clean up the ancient times

1. Clear the goal and mine the statue to obtain [Yu Ore] and 6-color [Gemstones]; the Yu Mine wall is broken by the clockwork chariot. Drop [Yumite Fragments]; defeat the Clockwork Monster and hammer the Clockwork Pile to get [Gears] and [Rotten Wires]; and pick [Fluorescent Fruit]. Therefore, at least 11 spaces must be cleared on the body. It can be said that you should not bring basic supplies, and only wear the necessary supplies listed above. Of course, you can also choose not to bring anything with you. For example, the first time I went into the cave, I didn’t bring any gears or bad wires. I went straight to the target and grabbed the ancient equipment and left. Take away these less important items when you come back for the second time. These items will not be smashed by the earthquake if they are placed on the ground. So I went down the hole for the first time without even a hammer.

The clockwork monsters in the military area are very scattered and can be defeated one by one. But you must also pay attention to the bishop. You cannot be kited by the bishop while killing other clockwork monsters.

The best way is to first walk along the side like the right side. Walking like this on the big platform will not attract the aggro of the clockwork monster. But as soon as we knock on the statue, the clockwork knight will come and beat you. At this time, you should be careful not to fight directly, but to attract the knight to the edge of the platform and then fight. Otherwise, if the bishop notices that you are beating the knight, he will come and beat you.

After killing all the clockwork monsters on the big platform, it will basically be safe here. iChoose a science station far away from the shadow lamp, repair it, and put the box down. Place the ancient collected resources in the chest. After we completed the ancient equipment in the military area, we went to the maze area to defeat the boss rhinoceros. Finally, we returned to the ancient technology to make some more things before we could go back.

2. The order of cleaning up ancient times: Prioritize cleaning up residential areas. Although it is dangerous, there are many statues here, and it is the main source of gems and Yu mine. The way to play is to seduce the chariot first (don't attack) and keep the chariot away from the bishop. After successfully inducing the tiger to leave the mountain, he quickly stood up to the bishop. After killing the bishop, we'll deal with the chariot. Since every room in the residential area has 2 to 4 shadow lights, you must avoid the riot period, otherwise you will definitely die if you face the Clockwork Monster and the Shadow Monster at the same time.

3. Ancient riots:

The underground will periodically enter a period of riots. The easiest way to judge ancient riots is to look at the color of the floor. The redder it is, the closer it is to the riot period. The floor was bright red during the riot

There is a lot of ancient content in Don't Starve. Even so, we can only give a general introduction and cannot show it in detail. It’s best to watch other people’s ancient live performances, but it seems that people don’t want to watch videos, so they won’t do it.

In addition to the order of cleaning the ancients that I introduced, there is another order that is to first go to the military area and kill the rhinoceros, take the resources in the rhinoceros treasure chest, and then go to the living area to get the remaining resources. Then directly repair ancient technology in the living area. This method is more suitable for big guys and requires certain skills and experience.

After your proficiency is high, the order is not so important. You can build the tower after collecting enough resources, and get some ancient equipment to continue cleaning up the ancients. It will be much more comfortable to clean up the remaining ancients with the help of certain ancient equipment.
