At noon on Sunday, my mother picked me up from the Children’s Palace and went to eat Cross-Bridge Rice Noodles.

We braved the scorching sun and came to the Mengbaiyuan Cross Bridge Rice Noodle Shop downstairs from Auchan. When we walked into the shop, my mother and I found an empty seat and sat down. There was a recipe book on the table. My mother and I chose our favorite rice noodles. The waiter said please wait a moment, and soon brought two cups of very special herbal tea.

While drinking herbal tea, we enjoyed the beautiful scenery of Yunnan shown on TV. After a while, the waiter brought three large bowls of rice noodles with two sides. The thick and white rice noodles lay quietly in the bowls. There are some peanuts, slices of beef, bright red peppers, and some green lettuce in the bowl, which makes people appetite. When you eat it, it is smooth and tender, and tastes great!

My mother said that next time we will change to another flavor of cross-bridge rice noodles. I really look forward to this day coming soon.
