Meizhou is located in the northeast of Guangdong, with a population of 5 million, 99% of which are Hakkas. Today, within 40 kilometers of Meizhou and its suburbs, there are hundreds of enclosure dragon houses of different sizes. Dragon House began in the Tang and Song Dynasties and flourished in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The Dragon House Group in Nankou Town, Meixian County, the Dragon House in Renhou Wengong Temple in Qunfeng Village, Bingcun Town, and the Dragon House in Chengde Building, Sanjiao Town, Meijiang District have become hot spots for tourists at home and abroad.
