After Kong Lun, the magistrate of Luling County in the Western Jin Dynasty presided over the withdrawal of the county, Ji 'an City remained untouched for more than 1,670 years. This treasure house is surrounded by water, with Tianhua Mountain in the west, Shengang Mountain in the south, Luozi Mountain in the north and Tianyu Mountain in the east. Qianli Ganjiang River forms an arc-shaped bay here and then heads north. The water from the west is divided into two streams, one is injected into the Ganjiang River, and the other flows into the periphery of the ancient city, which is today's Houhe River, and enters the Ganjiang River through the urban rivers. The terrain slopes from west to east. Jincheng, built by Kong Lun, is located in the north of People's Square and south of the Municipal State Taxation Bureau after the new century. It's called Kongjiawan Road, which goes north from here. Jizhou was established in the year of Emperor Yangdi 10 (590), and the city was moved from Kongjiawan and Zhaogongtang to Qingshi Street in Jifukou. Now there are huge camphor trees on the roadside, Wuyue Temple, Ganquanmen and other ancient place names.
The magistrate of Konglun built a new county here and later became an important commercial center in the south of the Yangtze River. The Ganjiang River, which runs through Jiangxi, is the main artery leading to Lingnan in the north, and is called the golden waterway. Luling City is located in the middle of Ganjiang River, and ships pass from south to north. Businessmen and tourists flow in an endless stream in the city. Shops and warehouses on both sides of Jiang Yan Road and Houhe River are all cotton, which has become the distribution center of materials and the radiation center of information flow and cultural flow in the south of the Yangtze River.
Liu Chenweng, a native of Luling in the Southern Song Dynasty, said in the Chronicle of Xixiqiao: "Being an official drugstore, being a prostitute in a flag pavilion (restaurant), being a bell ringer in the Song Dynasty, being ordered by a long street, being seated by drinkers, is a gift." . ) and then you can pass. "In the ninth year of Chongzhen in the Ming Dynasty (1636), Xu Xiake said in Jiangyou Diary:" After dinner on the second day of the second year, I went to Ji 'an County. " Out of the south gate, I saw a street by the river, and the straight west belonged to Okayama God. Ten miles, gold is not less. "Market" is the market, and "Jinchang" is the Golden Gate and Nagato in Suzhou. It means ten miles long street by the river, comparable to Suzhou. As early as 600 years ago, during the Shaoshengyuan period of the Northern Song Dynasty (1094), Su Dongpo lamented that "the scenery here is semi-Suzhou" when he visited the Houhe River in Luling City, and it still has the name of semi-Su Bridge and semi-Su Lane. At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, there were still more than 20 docks and ferries along the Yangtze River. Another important condition for it to become a commercial center is that it is located on the ring of Ganjiang Bay, but the water depth is slow and it is easy to park. This is due to Kong Lun's foresight in site selection and urban construction.
After Kong Lun left office, he did not return to his hometown, but settled in the city, where his descendants lived together, known as Kongjiawan. According to historical records, the residents here are descendants of Kong Lun. This place belongs to the jurisdiction of the square community, and there are no relics. Kong's descendants can't find it, only the name of the path in Kongjiawan is left. (excerpt)
