Activity 1 Survey: My Week
breakfast
Activity objectives:
Learn to record your breakfast on time with a simple chart every day.
Key points of implementation:
1. Prepare a record form for each child before the activity (pictured). The first and second columns in the left column of the record form are "time to get up" and "time to go out" respectively. A simple analysis of these two times can show whether the children have enough breakfast time, and also help us to understand the children's living habits. The third column "Where to eat" aims to know where children eat. The last column is "what to eat", which aims to understand the nutritional status of children's breakfast.

2. Guide children to talk about what they ate for breakfast today, where they ate it, get a preliminary understanding of children's breakfast, and pave the way for recording activities.
3. Guide children to observe the recording form and talk about the meaning expressed by simple pictures and words.
4. Guide the children to discuss: If we want to record our breakfast today, how should we record it? What diagrams can be used to represent? (Please try to record individual children. )
Let the children take the tapes home, learn to watch the clock with the help of their parents every day, and record their breakfast in time. Parents are advised to record their children's breakfast by taking photos, videos, etc., and let their children take these materials to the kindergarten for their children to communicate with their peers.
Activity overview:
When analyzing children's breakfast records, we found that some children have been actively suggested by the records and began to arrange their own breakfast consciously, trying to make their breakfast more abundant. At the same time, some parents began to pay attention to the quality of their children's breakfast. It can be said that the initial investigation and recording activities have had a positive impact on children and parents.
Activity 2 Discussion: My Breakfast
Activity objectives:
Willing to communicate their breakfast boldly in front of the group, knowing that they have to eat a good breakfast every day.
Key points of implementation:
1. Prepare "My Breakfast" PPT (presentation) and snack pictures before the activity. There is a breakfast video, a breakfast photo and several breakfast records in PPT, which truly reflects the children's breakfast. Photos and videos are selected by teachers from materials sent by parents, which mainly reflect two typical situations: eating while playing (watching) and eating in a hurry in the car. The teacher drew a mosaic or cartoon pattern on the child's face in the image. This takes into account the psychological feelings of children and embodies the basic educational concept of respecting children. The selected record table also reflects a typical situation. In order to present these materials more clearly, the teacher enlarged and edited them locally.
2. Play the video and photos respectively to guide the children to observe and discuss: How do the children in the video (photos) eat breakfast? Why is it too late to finish breakfast? How about eating like this? Why? How to eat? Show breakfast records while looking at photos, and guide children to find out the real reasons for not eating breakfast, such as getting up too late and delaying.
3. Exchange breakfast information in groups and group activities. Then, in view of the problems existing in children's breakfast nutrition, please invite kindergarten health care doctors to attend classes and introduce the knowledge about breakfast nutrition to children. For example, breakfast should include cereals, protein, fruits and vegetables. To help children understand how to mix breakfast nutrition reasonably.
Activity overview:
In this activity, we consciously guide children to analyze the bad behavior habits at breakfast, not just introduce breakfast nutrition knowledge. This design not only aims at the problems existing in children's real life, but also conforms to children's cognitive characteristics, which is easy to have a positive impact on children. In addition, we had a full communication with the health care doctor in advance, and asked her to focus on how to reasonably match breakfast nutrition knowledge. In the activity, although the communication and interaction between health care doctors and children is not long, the authority of health care doctors makes children more willing to accept nutritional knowledge about breakfast.
Activity 3: Make a breakfast plan
Activity objectives:
Learn to arrange your own breakfast reasonably for a week and feel the pleasure of arranging your own breakfast.
Key points of implementation:
1. Guide children to analyze representative record forms: How about this breakfast arrangement? If it were you, how would you design it? Help children further understand that breakfast should be rich and varied and balanced in nutrition.
2. Introduce two columns in the breakfast plan. One is the time to get up, which is intended to help children establish the concept of time, so that children can start with the arrangement of the time to get up, learn to arrange the time reasonably, and ensure that they have enough time to eat breakfast. The second is the arrangement of breakfast recipes for one week, which is intended to guide children to design their own breakfast through painting and experience the fun brought by self-arranged life.
3. Let each child design their own breakfast recipes on the breakfast plan.
Activity overview:
In this activity, we encourage children to make their own breakfast plans, and ask parents to give support at home, so that children can put their ideas into practice and truly experience the fun of designing their own breakfast and arranging their lives.
Activity 4: My favorite breakfast.
Activity objectives:
You can introduce your favorite breakfast in coherent language and learn to evaluate your partner's breakfast, so as to have a further understanding of the rationality of breakfast nutrition collocation.
Key points of implementation:
1. Parents are requested to assist in this activity. According to the breakfast plan made by children, help children prepare breakfast, and take pictures of their favorite breakfast to the kindergarten for communication. The teacher prepares pictures of food nutrition pyramid.
2. Organize children to exchange their planned breakfast: What time do you get up in the morning? Where did you have breakfast? Is there still time? Do you think this arrangement is appropriate? Do you follow the plan every day?
3. Children show breakfast photos and introduce-"My favorite breakfast". After that, the teacher led the children to further discuss: Do you think this breakfast is good? Why?
4. Encourage each child to speak freely in group communication, and then invite representative children in each group to communicate collectively. On this basis, show pictures of food nutrition pyramid to guide children to further understand why the food in breakfast should be diverse, balanced and appropriate.
Activity overview:
In this activity, we help children remember their breakfast from the aspects of time (whether it is timely), attitude (whether they will sit at the table and have a good meal) and completion (whether they will follow the plan every day), so that children can have a further understanding of their breakfast. Judging from communication, most children consciously set aside enough time for breakfast. With the cooperation of parents, children basically arrange breakfast according to their own planned recipes, but some children overestimate their "appetite" and arrange too much food. To this end, we also guide some children to further adjust their breakfast plans to make them more reasonable. In order to know the children's breakfast after the activity, we conducted a follow-up survey of parents. Judging from parents' feedback, this activity is close to children's life and needs and is very popular with parents. We also know that this activity has a positive impact on family life habits and children's behavior.
