Cucumber rhombus knife technique:
Material: cucumber
Tools: cutting board, kitchen knife
1. Choose a slender and straight cucumber.
2. Wash the cucumber with clean water to remove the burrs and dust on the outside, and remove the yellow flowers on the top.
3. Cut the whole cucumber into parallelogram-like segments (the length and diameter of the segments are similar) with a diagonal knife.
4. Take the cut cucumber segments, place one end of the cross section on the cutting board, and slice the other cross section into diamond-shaped slices.
Cucumbers are commonly grown throughout China and are now widely grown in temperate and tropical areas. Cucumber likes warmth but cannot tolerate cold, so it is one of the main greenhouse products. Cucumber is an annual vine or climbing herb; the stems and branches are elongated, furrowed, and covered with white rough hairs. The tendrils are thin, undivided, and white pubescent.
How to store cucumbers
1. Do not store cucumbers randomly after you buy them. If you leave them randomly, they will easily grow white hairs and become old and soft. It is best to arrange the cucumbers neatly in the vegetable basket, and then put the vegetable basket in a ventilated and cool place. This method can keep them fresh for about a week.
2. Wrap the cucumbers in plastic wrap or a plastic bag. Do not tie the bag tightly, and place it in a cool place indoors or in a refrigerator freezer. This method can be used to store the cucumbers for about a week in the summer and in autumn and winter. About half a month.
