2. Yuanbao rice: Some soybeans should be put into the rice on "Winter Solstice Night", which is called "Yuanbao rice". When serving rice, put two cooked water chestnuts in the rice bowl in advance. When eating, use chopsticks to dig out the water chestnuts from the rice, which is called "digging for ingots". The whole family laughs constantly and has a good time.

Winter Solstice Group: On the "Winter Solstice Night", every household uses glutinous rice flour to make dumplings, so there is a poem that goes: "Every family pounded rice for reunion, knowing that it was the winter solstice in the Ming Dynasty." Winter Solstice dumplings come in different sizes. They are divided into large ones, stuffed with bean paste, shredded radish, pork, etc., used to worship ancestors and give gifts to each other, also known as rice dumplings; small ones without fillings, used to worship gods, are called rice dumplings.
