On August 18th of the lunar calendar (September 17), the annual "Lingtou Festival" will be held in Lingshan Dalu Village, Qinzhou, Guangxi. Hakka people have the saying "Lingtou celebrates the New Year". At that time, local villagers will fish in the pond, slaughter ducks and hold a feast to worship their ancestors to show good weather, abundant crops, prosperous livestock and pray for a good future.

The traditional folk custom "Tiaolingtou", which has lasted for thousands of years, is the highlight of the "Lingtou Festival" in Dalu Village of Lingshan, and Gai is named after its performance in Shantoutou. According to the villagers, this year's performance of "Tiaolingtou" is a "teacher class" passed down from generation to generation. Performers will wear masks, costumes, drums, and perform "throwing" (dancing) and "singing and dancing", with martial arts and folk magic performances interspersed. The performance lasted from the morning of August 18 (September 17) to the morning of September 19 (September 18).

According to local officials, the legend of the folk dance "Tiaolingtou" originated in the Yao and Shun period, and now it is rare in China.
