Generally, in the afternoon and evening, it is placed in an important position at home and poured with 3 glasses of wine to worship the ancestors.
Will pray for ancestors' blessing, peace, smooth business, smooth study and so on. Generally, the above items are prepared by women at home, and men are less involved. When it comes to worship, both men and women should worship.
(3) The night is special, so we need Yue Bai. In Chaoshan, "Liang" and "Niang" are homophonic. So it is also called "Mother Yue Bai". Maybe everyone likes to think of the moon as a very loving woman. I hope she can bring more blessings.
In many traditional villages, people worship collectively. There will be many big tables, and families will take out fruits and moon cakes. If there are children studying at home, they will also buy notebooks and pens to worship together, so that the "Moon Mother" can bless them with good academic performance.
