Ten bowls with eight buttons are one bowl of head, two bowls of bamboo shoots, three bowls of chicken, four bowls of fish, five bowls of steamed miscellaneous food, six bowls of mutton, seven bowls of meatballs, eight bowls of belly, nine bowls of meat and ten bowls of soup. The so-called "ten bowls and eight buckles" means that eight of the ten bowls of vegetables belong to "buckle dishes", and all dishes are served with buckle bowls except the head of the first bowl and the soup of the last bowl.
