1. water pear: cold in nature, moistening lung and resolving phlegm, relieving cough and reducing fire.
2. White radish: cold, slippery, expectorant, cough relieving, heat clearing and detoxification.
3. Lily: slightly cold, moistening the lungs and relieving cough.
4. Water chestnut: cold and slippery, clearing away heat, resolving phlegm, benefiting qi, appetizing and promoting digestion. .
Then there are some prescriptions for resolving phlegm:
1. Radish, ginger and pear tea: white radish, ginger and pear are sliced and decocted instead of tea.
2. Radish stewed with maltose: 2 white radishes and 60 grams of maltose, stewed and eaten.
3. Water chestnut soup: 60 grams of fresh water chestnut, 30 grams of sea chestnut skin (desalted), stewed in boiling water, (suitable for lung heat cough, yellow phlegm and hemoptysis).
4. Tremella soup: 6 grams of tremella, soaked overnight, add 10 red dates, and appropriate amount of water. After cooking, add rock sugar and serve.
