Daoxiao Noodles
Speaking of breakfast in Datong, the first thing that comes to mind is of course Daoxiao Noodles. I also wrote a feature on Daoxiao Noodles. Not much to say here.
sheep giblets
Mutton offal is made of mutton offal and other raw materials, and vermicelli is added to the soup. Boiled red and white, steaming, oily but not greasy, mouth watering. It is a health food for warming stomach and expelling cold. It is also an indispensable beautiful scenery in Datong cuisine. A bowl of mutton offal and a few fried dough sticks are the perfect breakfast for Datong people.
Tofu powder
I don't know how to describe this fairy bean curd powder! But it's delicious and super friendly to us. I have eaten anything that is not spicy or slightly spicy, and I think it is just so-so. Whether tofu powder is delicious or not depends on spicy! Not spicy enough? Then add some spicy food! Really belongs to the best love.
Boiled tofu
Chives, Chili oil, monosodium glutamate and vinegar are all added by yourself. The soup is salty. Put some shrimp and a pinch of parsley at the bottom of the bowl. When hot bean curd soup and bean curd bubbles rush into the bowl, a faint aroma will jump up. ...
Ma ye er
Ye Er Fried Hemp is an upgraded version of fried dough sticks and an advanced version of oil cakes, with Datong characteristics! Sugar is sweet. If the fried dough sticks are supporting roles, then the horse must definitely turn over and be the protagonist! It's delicious with soybean milk and bean curd. The key is that eating alone is delicious! !
Thick porridge
Datong traditional breakfast is porridge except noodles and the like. I remember when I was a child, my grandfather used an iron pan to cook thick millet porridge, accompanied by eggplant cooked on charcoal fire, cold shredded potatoes and nest vegetables stewed with sesame oil. After eating, I want a bowl of crispy rice soup, which is delicious, as well as marinated tofu and sesame oil.
hulless oat noodles
Block base and Sibafen are oat noodles, which are ground into flour with fried naked oats, then mixed with boiling water, then cut into noodles and steamed in a pot. You can't come to Datong without eating oat noodles.
Guo kui
Soft inside and crisp outside, with brown sugar inside and red sugar outside. I've seen pot helmets from other cities, round and hard cakes. We are rectangular and delicious.
