Ningdu people can eat spicy food too much! I went to the countryside in Ningdu more than ten years ago and found that they always sprinkle Chili powder or put a handful of Chili when cooking. Winter is even hotter. Besides soup, Caicai is so spicy that the whole kitchen can sneeze. The peppers they put in, whether dry or fresh, are spicy from fist to meat. I wonder if Ningdu's eating habits will change with people going out to work and communicating with the outside world.
There are many snacks in Ningdu, so I can't speak Mandarin. For example, Anfu, one of the old towns, has Xie Baozi, Cao and so on. But what can be said is Ningdu meatballs, three cups of chicken, fried river fish and taro paste. I like Ningdu meatballs best, especially fish balls, which are different from those in Chaoshan and other areas and have a unique taste.
Most traditional snacks will eventually disappear because of the lack of inheritance skills, and what you can eat is basically food with regional labels.
