Come north from Longhui, cross Liuduzhai, cross Qihe River, under the bird tree, and enter the Gaoping boundary. Go straight after entering Gaoping Town Bridge after crossing Leech World and Gong Yan, which is the direction to Shaoyang via Xinshao Yingguang. This is also an ancient commercial road. After turning left in the town center, go ahead to the steering wheel, then Meng Gong and Luo Hong are on the left, and Hou Tian and Mao Ping are on the right. This small street in the center of the town has become a vertical in the word "work", connecting the whole Gaoping. In my impression, Luo Hong was an integral part of Gaoping before withdrawing from the district and merging into the countryside. After withdrawing from the district and merging into the countryside, Luo Hong and Gao Ping were called together. The place where these two tendons are connected was transferred from Xinhua Gu Yong Town in the early 1950s. In the early Qing Dynasty, the four capitals of Yongning were basically the same as those under the jurisdiction of Gaoping and Luohong, but there were many places such as Guan Ying in Xinshao, Liping and Changchun in Longhui. Gaoping is a place with history. According to the Records of Baoqing in Qing Dynasty, Zhaoling (now Shaoyang City, Shaoyang County, Shaodong County, Xinshao and Longhui) was located in Gaoping County in the first year of Wu Baoding in the Three Kingdoms (AD 266). In the first year of Jin Taikang (AD 280), it was changed to Nangaoping. Chen Nan entered Shaoyang. The former site of the county magistrate is in the ancient site of Xiao 'ao Village, Da Qiao Township. There are also place names such as Tangxia, Guan Ying and Rome, which were the places where the county government held ceremonies and administrative meetings at that time. The name "Gaoping" is still in use today. Gao Ping's ancestors lived here for a longer time. It is said that our ancestors rested here 654.38+0.5 million years ago. Historically, Chu people and Yue people who moved in because of the war have been integrated into the local area and multiplied from generation to generation. Gaoping is surrounded by mountains: Gao Fengshan in the east, Jinfeng Mountain in the south, Wang Yun in the west and Tongfeng Mountain in the north. There are three streams in Gaoping: Xichun originates in the foothills of Wang Yun and flows into Yangxi, Xinhua from south to north; Chenzhou River originates from Tongfengshan Mountain and flows into Majiang River from north to south. Stone Ma Jiang originated in the southern foot of Wang Yun and flowed into Xinshao from west to east. Surrounded by mountains and divided on three sides, it looks like a pot from the air. Pieces of flat land that are intermittently connected raise more than 70,000 people in more than 50 villages. According to folklore, in the early Southern Song Dynasty, a Feng Shui gentleman came here and saw Bainiping (now Gongyan Township). He was deeply impressed by the beautiful terrain here and praised: "There is Chaoyang in Gao Feng in the east and Ni Ping in the west. It's so beautiful!" Later generations took one word from each of these two compliments and named it "Gao Ping". This is also one reason why "Gaoping" is often written as "Gaoping". Topographically, Gaoping may be more suitable for flat land surrounded by mountains. "Gaoping", or "Gaoping", is just a name and a symbol. What is important is that in the hearts of fellow villagers, this place has its own home; In the wandering heart, this place has its own roots. Gaoping people are hospitable and very polite. It is necessary to put everything on a table when friends, relatives and husbands visit.
Put a square table, and the culture will be on the table. If you don't know how to set the table, it is impossible to entertain guests from all directions. There are rules for guests to sit down. On the upper left is the distinguished and most distinguished guest; And the next song must be accompanied by a prestigious host invited by the host. Others will be seated according to their qualifications and fame. If there are two or three tables, the arrangement will be different. And serving, must start from the host and guests. Every dish is tasted by the host and guests first. And toasting, or double wealth, or the Eight Immortals crossing the sea, or the 66 th Universiade, or the bright moon is in the sky, has a saying. And every time I eat a dish, I will put down my chopsticks, talk about past lives and contact my relatives and friends to show my respect for each other. Very lively. If the guests are drunk, the host family will be very happy and think they have arrived; If the guest is not drunk, the host family will feel guilty and ashamed of the poor hospitality. Especially the groom's official, accompanying guests will be more careful and must aim at getting drunk. Therefore, it is almost impossible to be a good groom and a bully without being drunk a few times.
I remember my cousin got married when I was in primary school. The third uncle in charge of the seat asked me to accompany the last seat in order to exercise me, who was less than ten years old. The banquet started at nine o'clock in the morning and didn't end until two o'clock in the afternoon. The elders who accompany the guests are respectful, the in-laws sitting at the dining table are polite, and the whole dining table is harmonious. Everyone kisses each other. Every time you pick up chopsticks and pick up food, you have to push me. Every time you toast, you have to have a thousand words. In your coming and going, after drinking glasses of wine, everyone is more enthusiastic and interested, and they don't feel that the food has been hot for several rounds. Poor young me, I couldn't make it, so I found an excuse to sneak out and ran to the kitchen to fill my stomach.
Of course, young people are not so particular now, but they are happy to eat. At present, the so-called official etiquette and shopping mall etiquette, which were popular at that time, had a little style, but lacked the foundation of simple friendship. There are fewer people who respect the elderly and love the virtuous, and there are more rights and interests. Not necessarily a guest, but also a jackal.
1945 will always be remembered in the hearts of the elderly Gaoping people. That year, dying Japanese devils invaded Gaoping, and many Gaoping people suffered greatly in the "escape from Japan". The stone lions on Jin Feng Mountain were originally hidden in weeds and witnessed the tragic attack by the Japanese army. The camphor tree that once soared into the sky and looked at Baoqing from the east witnessed the beast nature of the devil. And my mother, born less than two months ago, was picked up by my grandmother with a laundry list and hidden in the mountains. The bitter hatred between the country and the family is not a legend, but a history!
The army fought bloody battles and tried to resist; The villagers are also fighting back. It is said that a fellow countryman met a Japanese devil who was alone on the mountain road. In desperation, he grabbed a straw gun (bamboo product, which functions like a pole and has two sharp points, and is often used to pick straw and firewood) and stabbed it. The Japanese were reimbursed on the spot. The Japanese devils with steel guns could not resist a single gun, which greatly encouraged the villagers. From then on, the Japanese devils who swept around were often attacked by guns, hoes, shoulder poles and firewood knives. And the saying that "Gao Ping is a pot, and the Japanese devils will cook one" has also begun to spread. After liberation, many villagers still kept Japanese helmets, bayonets, kettles, boots and other trophies in their homes. In iron and steel smelting, helmets, bayonets and other things are mostly turned into iron ingots in the raging flames and recast into pots, hoes, plows and other appliances. But the hatred for Japanese devils has continued in the hearts of generations of Gaoping people ... villagers love martial arts. During the Republic of China, a martial artist named Yuan won the national gold medal.
In the off-season, young people often get together and compete for strength. Sometimes, a pole can compete for many famous things. Those old tricks in the village also instructed the disciples to practice a few hands in Sunguping. During the Spring Festival, young people from different villages jump the Huanglong from time to time to challenge other villages. The competition is a traditional Wushu routine. Boxing, stick, knife, gun, halberd and bench all have routines. Let's see who has many routines, and second, let's see who is steady and energetic. Or try to hold a stone lock, compare it with tumbling, compare it with strength and flexibility. Beat and win, take the bus provided by the loser and leave; If you lose, you stay in Huanglong. Dancing the black dragon is seeking revenge, and seeking revenge will lead to fighting. There are different surnames in my impression, and there is a struggle for surnames arising from the dispute over Fenshan Mountain. Like the wind of martial arts, it creates a strong folk customs.
The mid-1980s was the most chaotic time in Shaoyang. The rotten baby who cut the hamstring made the Chinese people pale. One day, perhaps tired from staying in Baoqing House for a long time, a group of smelly kids and a dozen people came to Gaoping in the countryside on a whim. Walking on the road near the bridge, I saw the fresh pears put by the old farmer, so I picked them up and ate them without scruple. When the old farmer asked them to pay, the arrogant sufu pushed down the old farmer and kicked over the fruit bear, trying to walk away. Twenty parents-in-law who set up stalls around quit, grabbed the pole and let it go. I see a pole and a stone, Qi Fei. A rotting puppy is like a lost dog. In desperation, they hid in the police station and let their mother-in-law and father-in-law shout and scold outside, but they were determined and couldn't get out. Since then, the rotten pups in Shaoyang have never come to Gaoping to play.
With the development of economy, young people go out, old people die, and there are fewer and fewer scenes of practicing martial arts in slack seasons, and dragon dancing has become a legend. Young people who go home during the Spring Festival are more interested in comparing wealth and achievements with each other.
Some sages said that for China people, we should civilize their spirit and savage their physique. In fact, for a nation, if it wants to survive and develop in a world where the law of the jungle prevails, it needs a tough and barbaric spirit. In the atmosphere of money first, the blood of Gaoping people may be diluted a little. But I firmly believe that Gaoping people are United and tenacious in their bones. This is the inevitable result of being nourished by this soil and water.
